2009 May ACT Takers - Your ACT score vs. SAT scores

<p>Could those who took the May ACT compare it with your past your previous SAT scores, I am still trying to wrap my head around the common difference between tests. </p>

<p>Do you think you did better on the SAT or the ACT? Why?</p>

<p>I have no idea which one I did better on. I didn’t study for the ACT at all, but I studied for the SAT, which makes me think I may do better on ACT tests</p>

<p>Corey91, Just to let you know, there was no May ACT, just an April one. To answer your question, most people that I know have done much better on the ACT than on the SAT.</p>

<p>Which is good. The honors program at the college I am looking for requires either a 1400 or a 33 ACT.</p>

<p>Just goes to show you college admissions don’t respect the ACT compared to the SAT.</p>

<p>35 - didn’t prep and 2210 prep class with Princeton Review . ACT shows what you have learned - my school is hard, SAT is trickier and tests ability to reason out the best answer out of several that sound like they could be right at first glance.</p>

<p>Although I’m not a May ACT taker, I got an 1880 on the SAT and a 29 on the ACT. They’re pretty close in comparison, I guess.</p>

<p>I am going to focus more on the ACT though, (I enjoy the test more) and I’m hoping to raise my scores. On practice tests, my SAT scores have only been going up slightly, (2090ish) and my ACT scores have been going up more quickly, (averaging 33E, 34M, 32R, 28S). I still need some work. But I’m pulling those scores up from a 31E, 30R, 31M, 24S, so I’m happy!</p>
