<p>In general, do these need to be filled out before April 15 (which is when we file). I am just curious if not verifying our 2009 taxes immediately will delay any financial info from the colleges.</p>
<p>You should ask the school that requested the verification data. At my daughter’s school they do not consider your financial aid application complete until they have received all the verification data (if requested) and will not even start putting a financial award together until the data is received. Waiting until April 15th would cause her to miss out on some aid that is limited.</p>
<p>This is not a good time to wait until April 15th to file taxes. My husband used to file last minute before college started, now we file mid Feb at the latest.</p>
