2010 amc 12b

114, guessed 3/8 of my complete guesses right though.

Glad I have have my 121.5 from 12A.

Yep, me too. I got 4 right out of my 8 guesses.

frog problem?

should be 1/4 for the frog

^Yes, I concur with that answer.

Pfft, mifune’s practically a genius lol. If he agrees, it has to be right.

Thank you for the comment, but not necessarily. I believe that I missed four on this test - one, perhaps two, due to foreign vocabulary and an additional two simply because I could not figure them out. It is slightly disappointing since, at the very least, I can only match my score from last year.

Impressive. May I ask what was your score from last year? I believe I scored a mere 100-110s score this year, although it was my first. Perhaps it was a lack of studying? Ah well. I wish I had whatever you and every other insane scorer had lol…which is probably intelligence…in which case I really have no chance haha. But good luck! :)

EDIT: I can’t believe I’m admitting this, but this was on the 10 too. lame…

Oh, sure. I had a 126 on the 12 A - that basically denotes that I had 21 correct and 4 incorrect with no omitted questions. I later had a 10 on the AIME but I did not participate in the USAMO mostly due to the fact that I did not have the motivation, interest, or incentive to do so (I don’t plan on concentrating in the mathematical or physical sciences in college). But I have no regrets - the format of the USAMO does not accommodate my individual strengths so I truly would not have fared very well.

Even if I do qualify for the AIME this year, I will not be taking it.

Also, if anyone is unaware of this link and wishes for a comparative performance assessment, here is a link to last year’s percentiles:

http://www.unl.edu/amc/e-exams/e6-amc12/e6-1-12archive/2009-12a/09AMC1012-scoredist.pdf

(AMC 12 A and 12 B percentiles are present on the second page.)

Why is everyone here so smart><. The test was so hard compared to the amc10. I solved like 10 questions and then just randomly bubbled in the restXD.

So may i ask “Mifune” what you got for AMC 12 this year?
I didn’t go through the pages carefully. Forgive me if youve got it posted.

Since I am already positive that I missed four, I will have a 126 at the very most, perhaps less.

Did you take the A or the B btw?
That’s impressive you got a 10 for AIME last year. Arent you genius?!

My 132 from last year dropped to a 121.5, the 12’s were quite difficult this year.

I got 132 too last year! hifive…

A 132 on the 12? Hot damn, way to go dude!
What was your AIME score?

I took the A last year, B this year.

Considering that mathematics isn’t my primary interest, I think it is respectable but certainly not at the level of some individuals.

Hey, man! You know i got a 132 on 10 last year but got a 127.5 for 12 this year! Which is ridiculous…
I only got a 6 last year. Sad!
I bet you got at least a 8 didn’t you?

yep, you guys all are:) I never bothered to find out what I get on it every year, but if I did it was probably like a 40. No exaggeration.
