Blah I put Iran. I hope everyone caught the Ida thing. THE QUESTION WAS NOT REFERRING TO THE MUCKRAKER BUT THE ANTI LYNCHER. Like 60% of my class were complaining how it was a trick by collegeboard. Fails.

@seasmart- well written, but you should have included bacon’s rebellion as the main reason that the colonist turned to slavery. (indentured servants were to aware of rights and always were left wanting more. Slaves didnt have this problem as they didnt even speak english)

If you got 6, 6, 4 and 52 multiple choice, its still a 5…[AP Pass - AP Us Calculator](AP U.S. History Test Score Calculator - AP Pass)

brownj12, what would you give me based on that?

I wish AP Pass were legit…it seems too good to be true :(

@seasmart, Oh wow ! Thanks! I hope that happens, but idk I’m really nervous. Do minor errors in information drastically hurt essay scores? o_o

MC: Meh, all right I suppose, finished early and checked but I was not sure on a scary amount of them. I wasn’t familiar on events after 1990…or 1970 for that matter…hmmm…

Essays:
-DBQ: Terrible. (My essay, I mean.) I seriously did not know what I was talking about, guessed on some policies (but got some right lol) and basically had no conclusion. And my thesis was kind of weird…
-#2: Bad organization but ok content? I only wrote 2 1/2 pages though.
-#4: Only essay that was all right.

Worried but I’ve got other AP’s to worry about more and study for!

I hope its legit!! Even if I did bad on the mc, which I think I did, Ill still get a 5. Most realistically, a low 5 on that website is probably a 4

LOL it does seem too good to be true. History is my worst subject.

Yeah haha me too. I really wish I found out sooner!

maybe AP Pass calculations took curving into account…haha.

ok can any of you guys tell me if this is a valid argument; Slavery developed in the colonies because of the need of a new labor force. Support: Bacon’s rebellion and how the indentured servants were hard to control, the sprawling plantations and how these plantations need more workers, the relatively cheap price of purchasing indentured servants compared to slaves.

Can someone tell me how badly I would do on essay 4?:

I wrote about how in both times acts were created: In the 1800s there was the alien act and in the 1900s there was the immigration quota. I realize now that these dates are ten years before and ten years after. Then I talked about how the immigration limited the number of jobs for the whites because they did the same labor for cheaper. Then I talked about the KKK and how they were cruel towards the immigrants.

How badly would this essay do?

@seasmart- id have to see how you wrote your essay and whether or not you supported your thesis and if it was clear (they go wild over that). But if you did that and with the info you gave you should be in the 5/6/possible 7 range

@rd2012, I think that’s what they were looking for…should get you at least a 6 if you followed up accordingly

@seasmart I want to say something but I did not know anything about essay 4 so I did essay 5 instead. But if you mentioned KKK, that’s a pretty strong point ! I’m sure a few errors here and there will not cost you more than 2 points off…hopefully. They don’t expect perfect essays ! LOL

I definitely supported my thesis. I just wasnt sure how good my support was. I’m hoping for a 6!

Is it bad if I talked about the vietcong and thus my lai massacre? For the Dbq? Now I’m freaking out

i wrote essays that are 5-7 range, but my theses were bad. could that bring my essays down to a 4?

@seasmart I don’t know what your score would be. One comment: the time periods addressed in no. 4, which i also did, are 1840s-50s and 1910s-1920s. I talked about the Know-Nothing party and nativist sentiments in the 1840s and the 50s while in the other period i talked about Red Scare and the acts (which you were right about). I don’t think there were acts in the 1840s-50s (though I am not sure)

@LapisLazuli It may bring you down slightly, but I don’t think that a bad thesis, if you had good supporting info, would bring you down that much.
