There was one question about the grandma’s artistic sth… not sure…

I think I put “sought approval of the appearance of her signature…sth…”

Can anyone confirm this?

There was one question about the grandma’s artistic sth… not sure…

I think I put “sought approval of the appearance of her signature…sth…”

Can anyone confirm this?

@Ivycraze: For the chandelier one, I put an incongruity or something along those lines because it didn’t fit her her fantasy.
@Cougar: Confirm.

I agree with the ecotourism one, that the first passage emphasized the destructive effects/damage more than the second.
Someone please tell me what the similarity between the dancers and extroverts is.

wait was the soup one adding more details or making the stories more entertaining?

Chandelier question was the one about a common phenomenon, because it said that many of the artifacts were not really as special as they were thought.

So the house one wasn’t experimental?

-Chandelier was a common phenomenon
-“Broadcast” meant “distributed widely”

The soup one:
-She wanted to make the letters more entertaining; hence she added her own story
-The parenthetical sentence was an example of something her grandma made her write about (it was about a hockey game)
-Her grandma’s [word] soup referred to the “content of the letter”

agreed?

@Presidont For Alaska passage, I also put difference between present and past. It is novelty because it was a completely radical, or new, way of thinking.

what was the answer to the question for the Tribulation passage with the word “broadcast”? and @President, a couple answers in your update are wrong… but i also put “incomprehensible logi”… is it a good answer? is it definitely wrong?

You guys are really making me angry about the “self-satisfied” vs. the “conscientious” question. She deliberately spent that entire paragraph describing how she changed “my brother” to “my grandson” and talked about “my hip joint” and “my son.” She did that for one reason: to make it seem like her grandmother was indeed authoring the letters. She was CONSCIENTIOUS of this fact, and so she wrote in first person. Nothing indicated that she was self-satisfied.

^^ Distributed widely. All of the stuff in the old house was distributed among her relatives.

Did anyone else get 4 CR sections? Anyone know which CR was the experimental? Because I think I did badly on one because the reading made no sense at all but I don’t remember what passage it was…

and PLEASE, which CR was experimental?
I hope it’s the one with Descartes and the Brain. Because I got the incomprehensible logic thing wrong…

I agree with andrewshreds. The paragraph in the line reference was clearly emphasizing how meticulously (conscientiously) the granddaughter had to write out her grandmother’s letters.

@garfieldliker creating an appropriate closure could be easily accomplished by the granddaughter

@Cougar yes it was about the substance of her grandmother’s letter

@presidont sorry, i dont really remember the question

@Cougar yeah it was about the signature

@Rennir i was convinced it was phenomenon because it was an example of the Cleves’ tradition of only seeing things their way, which was a phenomenon

@alwysgraceful physical response or something along those lines because the other ones did not pertain to the passage

@sabree i put the soup was to make it more entertaining through elimination

reniir, i can try to help you figure out which one was the cr section if you can tell me which stories you remember reading…

@ hello810. The cricket one was experimental.

presidont
what did u put for the primary purpose of g ma passage? was it development of a writer or misunderstanding about the purpose of a letter (or something along those lines)?

Oh no I remember now. It was about human taste vs. koala’s tastes or something like that?

guys what was the answer for the ecotourism question? harmful or need regulation or education (<– don’t remembe this choice)

i put regulation after some thought because both talked about the lack of regulation/control, but passage 2 didn’t say it was harmful; it only said that there were some unorganized tourism which needed regulation

I may not be right guys (not the best CRer)

@annoying
-I think I might have messed that one up. I put the bottom one, something about grandma’s aspirations for her daughter or something.

I had 4 CR sections (2 in a row) - One of them had 8 really difficult Sentence Completions, but I don’t remember which passage was on it.

I just hope I got 730+; there is much disagreenment on some of these questions, but based on the consensus I could have gotten anywhere from 2 to 5+ questions wrong.
