2011 Mailed Scores (post when your state gets it!)

nothing in 954 florida(33020)

@statlanta

I get the feeling the mailings are all out of order this year. I’m in Illinois 600 and I haven’t gotten anything, neither has anyone else around here. Meanwhile people in NC and NY are getting them.

Hopefully tomorrow.

Still waiting in good ole’ Georgia, zip code 301 -_____-

Still waiting in maryland

You mean area code 301 not zip code :)

it really sucks that some people in a state get their scores before others. really, college board’s mailing system makes no sense. -_-

Lol what if collegeboard sent scores according to alphabetical order instread of state just to screw with you guys?

Nothing in NJ. Based on the recent pattern, they should come tomorrow.

its hilarious to me how people are waiting and going crazy just to save $8. I understand people in california who waited but isnt it worth it to just get your scores early on and relax and enjoy your summer? not trying to make anyone mad but I can’t understand why people refuse to pay that much. It’s not like its $20+. And for the people who say its because they dont want to pay Collegeboard anymore money, seriously, your $8 are not making a difference in their profits. Over 500 students called in like the first 5 minutes the lines were open; thats 4000 right there. Just my two cents.

Dont want to be rude, but its really none of your concern why people dont want to spend the money… You dont know the financial state people are in. Not saying people cant afford $8, but why waste it when you are going to receive the scores anyway?

And not all people are freaking out… Its not like this is dictating our summer. We just want to get our scores as soon as we can, thats all.

@abc - There’s a different thrill of receiving it in the mail and opening it. A certain suspense that the calling it sort of defeats.

Anyways. I’m in New York and have got nothing as of yet.

Well, from reading the posts here where some are saying “I’m dying,” etc, I would think those people are freaking out. I just want to understand why those people are worrying themselves for an extra 2 weeks when they obviously care very much. I’m just trying to understand the reasons why, I’m not trying to be rude either

People usually act irrationally. They really do not need a reason. Like the other person said why waste 8 dollars when you get them anyway in the mail. I’m sure no one is “dying” they are just overly excited. Some are also a bit afraid of their scores - so they would not want to call. Now they waited so long and can get them any day - calling doesn’t seem that worth it. You can’t guess what motives different people have without knowing much about them. For me it was just the suspense aspect.

Calling doesn’t have the same ‘Oh my God oh my God oh my God’ excitement as opening the physical envelope does. And besides, my parents are too stingy to waste $8 on something I don’t need (we’re not poor though. Being stingy is how my family got decently affluent) and I inherited the stingyness too much to spend $8 of my hard earned money on something I’ll find out in 2 weeks anyway. It’s not like calling adds raw points to your exam score, anyway.

For some people, it is the principle of the thing. Why should Collegeboard pocket $8 from me when they are MY scores (not to mention I already paid $80+ for the test). I am not putting down anyone who called in, but those are my reasons, that’s all.

Don’t complain about the phone service. If you don’t want to pay, then just wait for your scores. I hope you all know that it actually costs the CB money to manage the whole phone service thing.

Nothing for Virginia (NoVA area aka 703)

Can you guys sthu about the phone service? Stop arguing about that cuz quite frankly, its dumb! So just quit it… this thread is about scores in the mail so just give it a break smdh!

As opposed to the scores belonging to someone else???

squirtle; I’m in the 703 too. Hoping to get them tomorrow! :0
