B in stats A in soc 101 finite math in progress.

you didn’t take SOC 20 (Intro to Sociological Research Methods)? I don’t think that class is offered at many CCs, but I think having it done will make you much more competitive for admission.

@foothillxfer what are your plans after getting your bachelors?

I did take soc 20, got a B in that too. I didnt notice that on assist but anyway, lol. I need to decided whether business or law is for me. Ive taken some law classes at my jc, but they have been theoretical and not as practical per say.

@Ella: did you say that your friend goes to UCLA and she can’t see her major on MyUCLA? If so then I feel so relieved. This not being able to see my major ruined my night haha…

Yes! My friend goes to UCLA and the white bar is blank! Don’t worry about that one.

ella89- thanks for adding me on facebook.

why would that matter if she is?

iono…

Can’t wait til Monday!

Hahahaha; the internet dude…

Thanks ella! so admission decisions are coming out monday morning for sure?

You guys should lay off the MyUCLA thing; I really don’t think it’s an indicator of anything. If anything just follow URSA financial aid; if there’s an indicator it’s that, based off previous years.

Chillax you guys! It’s the final stretch anyways - only one week to go.

… need to stop looking at this thread. Keeps bringing me up then kicking me down. First I saw my financial aid stuff on URSA and I was all like YAY! Then I saw I couldn’t create an e-mail or log into UCLA and I was all sad and stuff. Then I saw I could get into the housing application and I was all like YAY!. Then I never got an e-mail for a scholarship from the alumni association even though my GPA is > 3.75 and I was all sad again :(.

Monday can’t come soon enough.

getting an email or not from the alumni association is not indicative of admission status.

@Levonid
Do you know if anyone had their financial aid on URSA and then got rejected?

I got a call this morning about the scholarship too, but at the bottom of the e-mail I received, it stated in bold red letters that receiving the notice from the alumni association does not assure your admission as they and the admissions are two separate offices. The answer that is certain will only come next week… hopefully Monday!

@uceric LOL aw

^1 person did, and they were probably mistaken. Also the Monday is speculation but my sources are Adcoms at UCLA so unless something happens they’re right. They also said they’re really behind… So Monday at 4 will be SOME admissions.

@uceric: Don’t worry, the scholarship thing is NOT an indicator of being admitted. Someone from the other UCLA thread said she got the scholarship call last year but was later rejected.

I really really hope I get a decision on Monday. Admit me or reject me but PLEASE don’t leave me out in the snow anymore!
