2011 UCLA Transfers: The Central Thread for Discussion and Decisions

hahaha I know, i trust them, or I wouldnt have posted it, but they arent the head people in admissions so if somethings happens, they cant control it, but it’ll be funny when they dont come out.

Like in the SD thread, the person that said the 9th, everyone wanted to eat him when the 9th was a no go.

meow

The people that were saying the morning said the scholarship people said that. UCLA never releases in the morning though, so I dont see that happening. But its possible.

I honestly dont want to check -__-, I hate bad news.

HAHAHAHA oh god i love the infamous 9th.

rawwrrrrrrrr i so exxxcittee

edit: but atleast you’ll know…instead of wondering.

ella89- what dont you want to check?

Anyone care for another chat room?

I didn’t know UCLA does rolling admission this year! Hope they release all tomorrow… Seriously no more wait!

I should be working, but I can try and participate.

And I said before, I hate bad news haha

i know same here ella 89, i’m dreading the day admissions decisions come in =/ i almost dont even wanna check it and just wait for the admission packet to hopefully come in…

Im talking to my friend that goes to UCLA, and he said that there were a couple people that he knew that applied last year and could see all this stuff were seeing and got rejected. fyi

edit: all the stuff being doc tracking, bruin card and housing… He didnt do MyUCLA

I was one of the people who was told by the scholarship people it would be morning. to be honest though, I think 4 does more likely, considering the fact that the guy who called me was a current student and probably doesn’t know any more about when decisions are going to be released than we do.

even though myucla is correlated with summer, I still think seeing your major would be the most indicative thing. why else would it show up?

Rite of spring - No, they didnt access myUCLA, just the URSA stuff… doc tracking/summary, housing, bruin card.

If you can see your major on myUCLA, its probably a good sign. If it is a white, blank bar, probably bad. Boom.

ahem

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/497964-no-more-ucla-admission-trick-threads.html

coughcough***

This thread isn’t specifically about the admissions trick. That just means you can’t start threads specifically about it.

OMG, I had NEVER seen that sticky thats been at the top of this page the 10 million times ive logged in. thanks for posting that.

/thread

yah cause according to 2009’s thread, it will list the major and say “admit” if you’re accepted…

@MikeL

L stands for legalism? I like it! Hope you’re transferring for econ or poli sci.

Ella who do ya trust more your friend that says people were rejected and saw fin aid or your friend who says they only process fin aid for admitted students…choices choices haha!

rite of spring - link?
