if we messed up on one part of the math problem, do you think they count off if we use the wrong value in later parts?

@halfasiagrl2012

The math looks so easy…how could I miss the last two parts?

if you mess up a math part using the wrong value in later parts, they’ll still give you credit as long as you did the math in those parts right. For example if you had 20 * 3 = 40, then said 40 * 2 = 80, then you would get points for the 402 part since the answer is right, just the math is wrong. But you wouldn’t get points for the 203 part. At least, that is what my teacher told me.

Wetlands remove impurities from surface runoff through the vegetation.

This should be it…Not exactly sure if its completely right.
Primary is the physical removal so material removal in the runoff

Secondary is the chemical layer. Vegetation removes the chemicals in the runoff before it flows into the body of water

soil quality is a factor in determining a wetland. precipitation may or may not be. At least for our class, the only 3 were soil quality, water quality, and vegetation.

Hey guys for the Pesticide Lab did any of you guys describe LD50 (lethal dose) as the method of your choice? Also would I get marked off for saying to test other organisms along with the minnow?

what is the curve for APES this time? Raw score : 107+ = 5 again?

So would i get points if I said that wetlands do the primary waste treatment if the grass and plants growing in it filter things like leaves and twigs?

I hate that problem… I just wrote down a bunch of random stuff.

For the 2nd problem about the alternate energy for oil, I put wind turbines. Did anyone put that for the answer??

OMGG now these questions seems really easy…I hope I got at least half of the points…

I put solar panels but wind, solar, maybe hydro/geothermal would work

I am taking the Exam in two weeks. I know in AP Chem, and other courses, there is a form A and B for the FRQ released online, but for the APES there is only one form. Surely they wouldn’t give me the same test you guys took. Also, what are some subjects I should study?

@TGAllen

Yeah, there is a separate test for those who take the test later. Pick up the Princeton Review book, I found it really helpful. Also, taking the 1998 and 2008 released exams proved really useful.

Just took the 1998 test, well, half of it. I only missed 7. Was the test this year this easy? At that rate, I would have a 4 without even doing the FRQ.

Guys, do you know curve for this year’s exam??

They usually give curves for released exams I think. AP Pass.com has a general curve for APES and other exams if you want to take a look at it.

Does anyone know where I can find the release practice multiple choice questions online, preferably from the 2003 exam?
