<p>I’m from Cali, and I just got a reply on Thursday saying I’ve advanced to the next level of judging.</p>
<p>I’m from TX. No replies yet. I called them and they said Jan 8. Too much waiting!</p>
<p>Does anyone know when they’re supposed to have judging done for districts? Anxious to find out if I advance again</p>
<p>I got an email notifying me that I was the one of the top lodge winners and I received $1000 and would be moving on to the next level of judging. I was also invited to a luncheon, but they did not say anything about an interview.</p>
<p>I can’t believe that I’m actually being considered for this scholarship!</p>
<p>It seems that every lodge does it differently. I received a letter that stated that I moved onto the next level of judging (state-level), but I don’t think it included a scholarship notification. Perhaps my local club just doesn’t have the funds… haha</p>

<p>We are from California, as I mentioned earlier D was awarded a scholarship from the local lodge, and has moved on to the next level (January 7th). Luncheon is in March. I hope this information is helpful…I think some lodges process the apps VERY quickly (we received a phone call the Saturday after the deadline), others need more time. </p>

<p>We are from Michigan and my son was notified that he was moving on to the District level. We received a letter in the mail a while ago. We have heard nothing since!</p>

<p>Got a call from my local Elks Lodge on Christmas. I got 2nd out of 15 in the girls division for my local district = $750. I’m moving onto district now, so I might get more money 
This is definitely one of the easier scholarships to win.</p>

<p>I just found out that the luncheon I was invited to was for basically everyone that applied, because 4 of my friends applied and they were invited too. They’re going to announce the winners there I guess (along with an interview)? </p>
<p>That kind of sucks because I wouldn’t want to go to the luncheon if I was just going to sit there and clap for people who won.</p>
<p>Haven’t heard anything back yet (I’m from Maryland). Should I call the lodge?</p>
