Deadline: May 31, 2012
Major: Fields of Transportation, Logistics, Supply-Chain Management, Traffic Management, or related fields.</p>

<p>Transporptation Clubs International awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors and college undergraduate students accepted to or currently enrolled at accredited institutions of higher learning.</p>

<p>TCI may award up to $12,000 in total scholarship funding which will be applied to the following scholarships.</p>

<p>HOOPER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP - TCI’s first scholarship, awarded in memory of the founder of the first Women’s Transportation Club in the U.S. (Los Angeles, CA)</p>

<p>CHARLOTTE WOODS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP - Awarded in memory of a former TCI Director who was responsible for the proclamation of the now annual “National Transportation Week”. Student must be a TCI member or a dependent of a member.</p>

<p>TEXAS TRANSPORTATION SCHOLARSHIP - Awarded in memory of Gene Landis of Houston, Texas, to a student who has been enrolled in a school in Texas during some phase of their education (elementary, secondary or high school).</p>

<p>GINGER & FRED DEINES MEXICO SCHOLARSHIP - Awarded in memory of Ginger and Fred Deines, to a student of Mexican nationality and enrolled in a school in Mexico or U.S. Mr. Deines was a Past President of TCI.</p>

<p>GINGER & FRED DEINES CANADA SCHOLARSHIP - Awarded in memory of Ginger and Fred Deines to a student of Canadian nationality and enrolled in a school in Canada or U.S. Mr. Deines was a Past President of TCI.</p>

<p>DENNY LYDIC SCHOLARSHIP - Awarded in appreciation and recognition for his dedication to the field of transportation. Mr. Lydic is a Past President of TCI and continues to be very active and supportive.</p>

<p>ALICE GLAISYER WARFIELD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP - Awarded in appreciation and memory for her dedication to TCI. Ms. Glaisyer was a Past President of TCI and a TCI Scholarship Trustee.</p>
