<p>I have very sad news for all those who are still waiting. I just spoke to an admissions representative and she said last batch was sent out Wednesday. The rest of us will get a letter in the mail sometime next week saying we didn’t make it. I’m sorry for those who didn’t make it and congratulations to those who did.</p>
<p>for those who got accepted this week and are still waiting for the housing contract, the housing representative I talked to said that we should be getting our contracts after the SIR deadline (Monday is the deadline).</p>

<p>I decided to cancel SIR to UCD and go to UCSD instead. So do I need to submit my transcripts and scores to UCSD if I had already sent them to UCD?</p>

<p>Oh. I thought the UCs have access to each other’s records. No idea why I thought that. :p</p>
<p>Everybody IRL hates me cause I keep changing my mind (lol) but I’m 95% sure I’m going to UCSD over UCI now. For whatever reason, my option to SIR came back even though the deadline was 6/11.</p>

<p>I decided to take a look at the course listings for Fall 2012 at both schools. I even looked up past course listings from Winter 2012 and Spring 2012 so that I could get a better overall feel for how courses and professors are spread out during the school year.</p>
<p>UCI had less courses available than I would have liked, and the courses that were listed had not-so-great professors (according to the comments on r@temyprofessors). UCSD on the other hand had much more options available with a bunch of professors I would like to take classes with and hopefully I will be able to do research under.</p>
<p>I want to ultimately do Psychopathology so the two courses I’m most interested in taking are Abmormal Psychology and Clinical Psychology. The UCSD options were much more appealing than the UCI ones.</p>
<p>Plus, after my SIR deadline for UCSD passed I would still log on to MyAdmissions and feel kind of sad. Then for some reason the option to SIR came back today so I kind of feel like its a sign lol.</p>

<p>if I attended summer school at a different high school, do I need to send my transcripts from that school over to UCSD?</p>
<p>UCSD is requesting transcripts from 4 different schools(Fairfax, Van Nuys, University, and SMC), but on my UC Application, only SMC and Van Nuys shows up. I did attend Fairfax for summer school like 5 years ago, and I attended one semester (9th grade first semester) at University High School. Do I still have to go to the schools and request my transcript to be sent over? they should still have my files right?</p>
<p>Yeah, just call them up and tell them that you need your transcripts. A lot of schools these days send transcripts via an online system. You might not have to physically go to the school.</p>
<p>Has anyone who got accepted from the second batch of waitlisters receive any emails regarding housing or orientation yet?</p>
<p>Also does anyone know how you “send them your IGETC”? I know for a fact I’ve completed all the classes for the IGETC but I’m not sure what to do lol. Do I have to fill out any forms at CC? How long will it take? Etc? Thanks!</p>
<p>@Ddark12, for your IGETC certification you should ask for your school. I know for me I request it along with my transcripts online. :)</p>

<p>@Ddark12 second batch of accepted wait-listed transfers should be receiving the email either Monday or Tuesday. The housing representative I talked to said that they were gonna send it out after the SIR deadline, which is on Monday.</p>

<p>^there is actually, but you have to have your ucsd email to join it though. and its for all UCSD transfers not individual years for reasons stated on the groups page.</p>
