<p>^^yaaay!! you’re not in my college right (ERC)? It’s kind of lame how the colleges have different orientations for transfers its not like we live in the college residence halls anyway lol…they should all be together and have multiple sessions like they do now.</p>

<p>Quick admissions question: is it possible to defer your admissions until, say next year? I heard about that being possible and was wondering if anybody knew anything about that?</p>
<p>^Im pretty sure you cant at UCSD. I cant remember where I read that though so I would definitely double check that.</p>
<p>UCSD doesn’t allow deferments. You would have to reapply for the year you want to get in.</p>

<p>I got my housing contract email yesterday. Completed it and paid the 650 prepayment today and also activated my UCSD Email.</p>
<p>However I have received no information on Orientation or Class Registration. Does information about these two come in a separate email? And if so when can i expect to receive it… seems like everyone already got info on orientation.</p>

<p>@ddark go to orientation.ucsd.edu and sign in with your PID/password. You should be able to register for orientation there.</p>
<p>Edit: Oh, and registration doesn’t start until the end of August, I believe. You’ll be notified of your registration date/time through Triton Link.</p>

<p>Soo I did the housing contract. I’d prefer not to go to the orientation because it doesn’t seem worth it to me and I live way too far from San Diego. Is the orientation absolutely required?</p>
<p>Also, is anyone else worried about signing up for the classes they need? I know we can’t register for classes yet, but I looked at the schedule of classes and class planner and it seems like every class that I need is already full and there are already people on the waitlist for them.</p>
