Why does everyone here like the upper floors?</p>
<p>Maybe I’m just paranoid, but I can’t imagine living any higher than the 5th floor.
Plus, I’ll never have to take the elevator.</p>

plus the view is nice, but yes elevator waiting will be a burden</p>

<p>Like integraballer said, the wait times for the elevator will be the most annoying thing, but amazing views of the ocean/campus balance the trade-off. Besides that, I highly doubt that there will be a time in my life down the road where I’d be living sky high in front of the ocean–and especially for the price we’re paying for it. In my opinion, it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity that’s hard to pass up.</p>

Maybe next year I’ll move up.</p>

Noise has never been a problem for me, luckily. I can sleep, study, live with all kinds of noise.</p>
