<p>I wish these prompts were introduced in the 2012-13 Common App! I loved the first prompt, which would have given me a great platform to show myself:(</p>
<p>I agree; I like these prompts better than last year. Although there was a lot of grumbling about deleting the prompt “topic of your choice” -it looks like prompt 1 could still fit as a topic of your choice essay. Also they raised the word limit to 650 words which some students might appreciate.</p>

<p>OMG I love these prompts! I’ve been wanting to write an essay about my experiences in choir and was hoping that I’d be able to do that through one of the Common App essay prompts for this year.</p>
<p>Are the essay for transfers still the same or has it changed?</p>
