Hey, everyone! Since you guys have experience applying to UT, I thought I would ask my question here. I just finished my first year of college at a community college, and I didn’t do so well. By the end of this upcoming fall semester, I should finish up with a 3.31/3.6 (depending on how many classes I take) GPA. Let’s just got with 3.6 for my fall application. There’s nothing too excellent about me except about 100 hours in community service. I doubt that means anything though. If I hold off until this academic year is over to apply, I can apply with a 3.53 GPA and 65 credits, more community service, possibly a letter of recommendation, and a spectacular uphill trend as a spring transfer during fall 2014. If I apply as a spring transfer in, there will be two possible problems: One-Assuming I get accepted, I will only have three semesters to finish my requirements for a bachelor’s degree. So, should I apply during the fall and appeal with a 59 credits and a 3.49 GPA, or apply as a spring transfer with 65 credits and a 3.53 GPA. I will be applying to COLA and CNS or the college of education.
