I had the new housing message even though I won’t be living on campus.

@PapaBee, you’re still pending at SDSU?
that’s shocking! Their deadline do SIR is this Wednesday! Or is it different for international students? Good luck with both!
Has anyone gotten a housing message change recently? I still have the “bad” one…

I’m just curious. Everyone who got the good housing message…are you all living on campus? I called housing multiple times asking about the housing message and I have the bad one. And they told me it only means that my decision is still under review.

And also, as Psyschool said…they said they’re not going to live on campus. Maybe that’s why they have the different housing message? Anyone actually sign up for housing and have the good message before getting accepted?

sense of rejection…!!!

I guess im rejected. i will stay 1 more year in cc… so sad T.T

:(
:(

If I got accepted as a transfer for the fall can I take a summer course during summer session?

Stay positive everyone who is still waiting, certainly they didn’t keep all rejections until the end. I am the sort of person who equivocates a rejection (particularly from UCSD) to having a concrete block tied around my neck and thrown into the ocean lol, so I am equally terrified, but its not over till its over.

I haven’t heard any rejection from UCSD yet. so most of waitings will be rejected… I guess…

Has anyone been waitlisted for UCSD? They have a waitlist, right?

I saw that they had a waitlist last year.

I was recently admitted to UCSD. I applied to their ME/AE program but noticed that my major isn’t mentioned in the “Welcome to UC San Diego!” After reviewing my contract for provisional admission I also noticed that I was listed as undeclared major. I’m a little confused as to what this all about? I was under the impression that UCs do not admit undeclared transfer students. Does anyone know what this equates to? (Do I have to declare another major? Is ME/AE at UCSD unlikely? etc.)

FYI: I also received my BIG envelope yesterday.

@jongranados
What’s ur gpa man?
undeclared means SD is not giving u the ME/AE major…

anyone know where to find financial aid info?

@Psyschool
What is inside the big envelope? I was accepted on 3/18 but only received info about transfer day…

@wintergreeen
Click continue to the admission statue page, and then My Financial Aid Estimate, then Continue to Awards.

Attending Transfer Admit Day? (if admitted):Yes :)

Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected (strengths/weaknesses): I had a strong essay, upward trend (2 yrs of 2.0 semesters → 2 years of 4.0 semesters). Low GPA was my weakness, I also had to do academic renewal for an entire year.

QUESTION:
I want to major in Environmental Engineering at UCSD instead of Environmental Systems. Does anyone know if its difficult to transfer into a non-impacted engineering major?
Thanks!

in the envelope is an admission letter with an all access card for transfer day
