<p>Hi everyone,
I’ve been a long time lurker on this site (especially this thread). I just created an account to say that I’m pretty sure that acceptances are still on the way. I applied to UCSD with TAG, and met all the requirements. Which apparently means I can’t be rejected (or so I’ve heard). UCSD is my first choice and the wait is killing me too. But it’s not over yet so don’t give up hope and good luck!!</p>

I’m praying you’re right @sparrow2 !! Hopefully this last batch will have my acceptance. I really, REALLY wanna go to UCSD.</p>

<p>I’m getting really discouraged because I’ve been rejected to all of the other schools I applied to. UCSD and UCI were my top. Rejected from UCI and still waiting for UCSD but man… I’m not even sure if I want to see anymore with this trend…

<p>@fuzzyducky22 Dude…me too. I am in the exact boat as you are. I don’t get it though… I’ve read your posts about your gpa and I too seriously don’t understand why. blaagghhh are you going to appeal?</p>
<p>@Farcen admissions can be so frustrating D: I don’t know why were rejected! I’m going to call tomorrow to see why I got rejected. I’m appealing. I will discuss how my aunt’s death affected my GPA, but how my GPA has continuously risen after that. And I’ll talk about how I got a job and lab internship that I couldn’t mention in my application because I started after the app was due. I’ll talk about how I am able to balance a job, internship, two 20-unit quarters, my aunts death, and still had an upward trending gpa.</p>

<p>@sparrow2 I’m not a tag applicant sadly. But I did get into UC irvine and UC Davis so I’m hoping my luck extends to ucsd</p>

<p>Yeah, I’ve gotten into 4 other UC’s too (some ranked higher than UCSD). Hopefully that’s a good sign!</p>

<p>I’m a TAG applicant and I haven’t heard anything yet. I still have the “bad” housing message too, although I’m not sure I believe that whole thing.</p>
<p>What I’m bummed about is the possibility that we’re all left for the very last batch because we’re going to be rejected. Does anyone know of anyone who got in around this time last year?</p>
<p>Im really sad to say this… but i think most of us will get rejected.</p>
<p>I CALLED ADMISSIONS AND THEY SAID PEOPLE CAN STILL GET ADMITTED ON THE VERY LAST DAY OF APRIL. Just letting you guys know. I don’t believe in the housing message and have called housing three times already to see if they know anything about the different housing messages. They said people have different messages depending on if they indicated on their application if they are housing ON-CAMPUS or not and that it IS NOT an indicator for acceptance. So do not get discouraged. I also called the Financial Aid office for those of you who have been asking, and they said if it says that you don’t have one on file on MyApplication but you did apply for it through FAFSA.gov, that you will see your reward once you have been officially admitted. </p>
<p>I’m just clearing things up for people who have been asking. Good luck, everyone!!!</p>
