<p>I’ve been following this thread for a while now. Just submitted my waitlist statement.
Sooo here’s my stats:</p>
<p>Waitlisted April 30th (or 29th, can’t remember)
3.35 GPA applying from a CCC (surprised I even made the waitlist)
Bio Major (I think I listed Human Bio)
300+ hrs. at an internship at a local hospital (rotated through ER, Labor & Delivery, and some other departments)
Can’t remember which colleges I ranked highest.</p>
<p>Rejected from UCSC, UCSB, UCLA, UCB, and UCI. UCSD is my top choice and my last hope 
so here’s to everyone in a similar situation! Let’s do this!</p>

<p>it seems like ucsd has more prerequisites than ucla and uci…since they have the separate school things going on.(Warren, etc…)</p>
<p>For reference, we attended transfer admit day yesterday. They said they had 15,000 transfer applicants and admitted 2,700. How many of them will actually register is unknown. I have heard that they admitted an unusually large freshman class for 2013/14 so perhaps that is what has taken up the slack spots.</p>

<p>^ No, current students are able to register for classes for fall. I’ll be a senior at SD starting fall 2013 and my registration time is tonight in an hour.</p>
<p>Also, you can’t switch your major before getting into the school. If you are admitted you can change it in tritonlink once you start. If it is not impacted you shouldn’t really have any problems swapping over provided it doesn’t require a bunch of pre-reqs you dont have, or something along those lines.</p>
<p>“several hundred” waitlist offers went out (couldn’t get further clarification on how much is “several hundred”; tentatively the campus thinks it won’t need to pull any students off the waitlist to meet enrollment target, so start looking at your backup schools if you are on the waitlist)</p>

UCSD have admitted about 7000 transfer students past 3 years…
2700 is too low.</p>
<p>no it wasnt 2700 admits, they have 2700 open spots, the number of admits was 5-6k</p>
<p>also at ucsd, they reserve spots for transfers in each class. So everything is full now but in august they open up the reserve spots so transfers can enroll.</p>

<p>My transcripts have not been validated so far.
I checked academic history and it showed classes I took at CC.
I don’t know. I am kind of worried.
Any one has the same experience?</p>
