for the one with the funky shape (like a cube with two pyramids on the side)

did you guys get ~181?

(i don’t remember the answer w/ the radicals)

for the one with the funky shape (like a cube with two pyramids on the side)

did you guys get ~181?

(i don’t remember the answer w/ the radicals)

What did you guys get for question about the second henna passage? I said the tone was pompous, but everyone at school told me that was wrong.

@whyamisosmart

For that problem, I got 100+50√3, which is approximately equal to 186.6

it was the choice above pompous, but i can’t remember what it was.

for the question about apes what did you guys get? i believe i changed the verb that was plural.

also, for the question with the choice “hypothetical muse” was that the right answer? i dont think it was a simile b/c no like or as…

@whyamisosmart 100 + 50√3

@SavedTatWhim I also got pompous

^yeah thats probably right i forgot the exact #

what did you guys get for how the japanese guy felt toward “the translators”.
choices were like nostalgia, appreciation, bitterness, and 2 others i forget.

I put bitterness. That seemed to work well with the “litany of complaints” answer.

im pretty sure it was like “as a sieve” – the simile problem

@franky

i said exasperation b/c he proceeds to talk about how some translators suck

but definitely not sure about that

For the henna I said the second passage was critical.

@nicobella the simile one did have a bunch of “as” statements.

@saved
i also put bitterness, i felt he was kinda censuring translators - in the first 3 sentences

I put exasperation too

@SavedTatWhim I said it was critical. It was a bit ambiguous but since it was asking about his tone relative to the one in passage 1 so it kind of made sense.

Also, on the writing section in sentence correction where it mentioned how the lady’s greatest accomplishment was her musical achievement- was it correctable? I was stuck between “it is”(original) and “they are.” I might have over thought it a bit.

How about the reading question about the lady who was speaking at the meeting. Since she was __, she when asked to speak.

and for the improving paragraphs
the sentence talking about "Traditional Uhuburu - sorry for annihilating the spelling - tribes give gifts to the bride -
i said omit the sentence because it felt a bit redundant and random, is that right?

25 degrees apiece on the bamboo fan, 124 on the computer lab q, 9/24 (.375) on the major probability, k = 4, a = 3, 9 triangles in the bigger one, all three I, II, and III work for that one, two options for x in the triangle w/ side lengths 2, 7, and x where 2 < x < 8

some of these might be givens for some of you, i’m just regurgitating everything I can remember

exasperation.

he appreciated the one who understood him.

did you guys say that he was an extension of his imagination or w/e or was it that he could read his mind/predict him or something i was confused

what exactly was this simile question?

@batman : omg me too
but i put it is, because ’ they are 'didn’t really sound correct: not sure tho
