Its the last post at the bottom of the page

Got a 231. Extremely happy, considering cutoff for Wisconsin is around a 210.

nice ckoepp127 do you have any tips on how to improve on CR and W and could you tell me about how you prepared for the PSAT?

Does anyone know anyone cutoff for commended national merit scholars?

201 in NJ

do you know the decryption key for the booklet.pls thx

@victorp took a PSAT class taught by someone who got a perfect score on the SAT and ended up going to Harvard. Took practice tests.

As far as CR and W go, for CR I studied some SAT vocab lists and for the actual reading passages I usually just rule out the ones that don’t make any sense first, it’s kind of hard to explain the actual technique for that. I guess don’t read the passage as a whole first because the answers go chronologically, just read the bit you have to for the first question and so on. Answer questions that ask about the passage as a whole last. For W, It helps to have a good “ear” for the right answer. I honestly didn’t prepare for that one as much since most of it seems to be common sense. Though for me personally, the hardest questions are ones that have to do with uncommon idioms.

I got my scores like a week ago:

Math: 76
Writing: 65
CR: 59

SI: 200

Not good.

got a 209 in texas…any predictions on the commended cutoff?
