Major: Communications!

wait listed.

Not too surprised seeing as how my gpa is ~3.2 and my SAT is ~1590. I am however surprised that I initially got deferred and then got wait listed opposed to being declined immediately. Seeing as how they accepted 50 out 800 kids from the wait list, it appears as though this is the end of the road for me. Congrats to everyone else though!

It was a safety, but its also the only college to accept me for my #1 major so far so we will see. Bioengineering major.

I got their bioE major, too! We’ve got very similar stats. Best of luck with the rest.

DD got accepted

She will not attend though… Fell in love with another school
Still nice though being wanted, and I think Santa Clara is great school… Good luck and a great future to everyone

2100 SAT
7 AP’s
Youth Ministry, Speech and Debate, Football, and several club leadership positions (extracurricular activities were my strength I assume)

Santa Clara is third in my top 3, and their merit/financial aid package will be a HUGE swing factor.

Wait listed. GPA 3.23, SAT 2040
What are the chances of being accepted from wait list for SCU? Anyone knows?

Thank god because it is impossible for me to get in for bioengineering elsewhere for whatever reason. GO BRONCOS!!

Quick question, how did your email letter read if you were accepted, rejected, or wait listed?

No the email doesn’t say it tells you to login to ecampus.

Sent from my LG-E970 using CC

I would have your daughter contact them letting them know this is her number 1 choice. Her stats are excellent. I do know that many schools’ majors are impacted this year and even the top students are not getting in because of it. A student at my daughter’s school got into Cornell but was rejected for bioengineering at UCSD.Good luck to you and your daughter.

Accepted!

Major: Political Science
GPA: UW 3.6
SAT: 1850
Leadership EC’s, music, community service. Many honors courses in English and History.
WA resident.
SCU isn’t my top choice but looking at all these other stats I’m happy I was accepted!

Mom1013… I would call them nd let them know how strong your daughter feels…your stats seem definitely within SCU bandwidth …
Sometimes decisions seem to be inconsistent

Mom1013 - IMO, your daughter needs to call SCU to let them know it is her #1 choice and asking them to reconsider. Your daughter calling is more likely to have a bigger impact, than you, as a parent.

Accepted!!! Major: marketing
