Okay the other test was too clustered up so this is only critical reading. I’ll start it off did you guys get feckless for one of the sc questions?

yea i put feckless too, I forgot what the question was though

That one was supposed to be unscrupulous… having or showing no moral principles; not honest or fair. The question was about some lady questioning her boss’s leadership style.

i think feckless fit that question more because I thought of unscrupulous of making bad decisions, like ethically, she was only questioning her boss’s leadership style so feckless was best.

Oh I see where you’re coming from… yeah i feel like both COULD work. I guess we’ll find out in a couple weeks :O. It could either be a good christmas surprise, or ruin my break lol :P

Answer was feckless, but I put unscrupulous

yea it is the worst time for these scores to come out. And I’m very skeptical of some of my math answers which sucks cause math is usually one of my better sections.

it was feckless! ahhhh. everyone post in the official december 8th test

YES !!! That was the only vocab question I didn’t know and I weeded out three of the answers and I guessed between feckless and unscrupulous, and I put feckless ! I think I might have got an 800,

But who else here was outraged at how much harder the math was than normal?

Was the answer to one that said “due to a deadline, the authors had to ____ the unimportant articles”

I put Shelf, it was a two line blank but the first blank was one that only eliminated one answer so i was unsure

Trying to keep her perspective and objectivity, she had to ____

I put compromise, but was tempted to put fairness because it said “objectivity”

Anyone know these?

first one was shelf. second one I put fairness because I think compromise is more about begrudgingly meeting half way in beliefs or actions.

I think it was compromise, she had to compromise between the two to keep her reputation (I don’t remember the exact question)

Oh wait, that makes sense now. I think it was compromise.

Was it explicit or accurate for the one about keeping the record straight?

it was 100% fairness, because when she needs to see things in another point of view, regardless of hers so she must keep fairness when writing about the topics. and it was shelve, also 100% sure.

that is what I thought as well!

we seem to have similar ideas about this test @treel, how many did u think you got wrong in each section; and then your essay?

@14daltg I think I got more wrong in math, around 6 wrong, including my 2 omitted questions. I omitted 2 in the math section because I did not feel confident about the graph questions. In CR, I got think I got 2 wrong (feckless and verisimilitude) but other than that I double checked all of my passage questions and I could not really find anything wrong with them. For writing, essay was a breeze and I think I got an 11 on it because that was my last score on the SAT and the essays were equal in quality. In terms of the questions in the writing section, who knows. I normally do really well but some of them have weird idiom/diction errors that I do not catch. I cannot really project my score because my math section and writing section are really up in the air right now.

Was verisimilitude right?

@bryceman yes it was
