<p>Just heard I was selected by my state for the program!!! Has anyone else heard yet?</p>

<p>Congratulations! Our neighbor from Maine did that last year and just loved the opportunity. She now attends UMD-College Park to be close to DC.</p>
<p>Yes, I got an email as well as a phone call from Colorado’s coordinator. I would imagine states are kind of on their own timetables to send out emails/calls, but I do know that they had to have info in to the Hearst Foundation by December 1st on who won from each state.</p>
