2014 Applicants

@BrownPennLover: It was probably the GPA. A lot of really qualified people at my school got wait-listed/rejected this year. WashU gets really funky with their applicants!

@joefrommiami…I don’t get why that doesn’t make sense. It obviously shows that your school inflates grades. Colleges will see that, at least they will when they are comparing your school profiles to other schools.

We have only around 5-10 4.0 UW graduates but we have around 15 NMFs. And besides, National Merit has nothing to do with one’s schoolwork. Some people just don’t do school work yet they are great test takers. Our NMFs’ GPAs range quite a bit from 3.5UW to 4.0UW.

Just got accepted!!! Check your junk mail and there is a link to the decision letter on OPUS!!!

I got in earlier this year, and congrats to everyone else!

Some basic stats:

Several club leadership positions and memberships, several volunteer programs, one prestigious summer program relating to my main extracurricular (music-related) as well.

Good luck to all who are waiting on RD :)
