<p>Sorry this is a repost from the Interview thread, but more people look at this :)</p>
<p>So one of my other interviewers for another school wanted to schedule with me and he told me to bring copies of my resume including tests, and copies of the essays I wrote for CommonApp… Is this normal? I’m ok with the test part since my scores are pretty good, but I’m not sure I would feel comfortable having him read my essay as I’m sitting in front of him? It’s kind of personal and such…I mean, I would probably do it in the end, but is this something that’s typical for an interview? He told me the interview is informal, too. </p>
<p>My Yale interviewer certainly didn’t ask for all these things and it went fine. </p>

<p>^ i don’t think that’s normal. but again, going into my yale interview today, i had no idea i had to perform calculus to solve a physics question, devise a scientific experiment, and defend the study of history with examples from different eras… I think if he asks for it, then bring it.</p>
<p>all i talked about in my interview was building robots
my interviewer sat there with his mouth open</p>
<p>he was in a very different humanities field</p>

<p>At my interview, my interviewer and I started bashing princeton. it was so fun 
then he went…“yep, you’re one of us!” which I suppose is a good thing lol</p>

<p>I’m still not sure if they actually changed my application from EA to RD but I’m having the interview anyway in case I’m stuck with EA, the interview might just help me not get rejected too horribly :-/</p>

Made my couselor, teacher and a few other administrators REALLY anxious because they were like OHMYGOD WHY DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN? I mean, all my stuff were sent on time so they were all freaking out and being like WE HAVE TO GET THIS KID INTO YALE.
But everything was faxed and everything has been received. All’s good!!</p>
