2014 SCEA hopefuls?

at our school, seniors are allowed to wear college sweatshirts.
ive been wearing a yale one ever since i had my on campus interview.

if i dont get in, i will have like 1000 reminders…

im akkksiighteddd

^lol, at my school, everyone is allowed to wear college sweatshirts.

i have a pink yale sweatshirt saved, if i get admission.
:)

and I have money to buy a harvard one, should I get rejection.

just kidding.

Really? I would personally say - good on those kids! They’ve had to overcome significant challenges, made their application to a tougher deadline, and of course are highly qualified and deserve their places.

I can’t see too much that’s unfair about it.

It’s not really unfair, and whoever says it is should put him/herself in that position.

Calm down, I’m pretty sure it was just hyperbole.

Just 13 more day

I’ve been saving my Yale sweater since this summer from the campus visit. I really hope I get in or I’ll never be able to wear it outside of my house. :(

aaahhh, the tantalizing allure of bragging rights…such a guilty pleasure

I used to procrastinate on facebook and now I find myself unable to peel away from CC, two research papers due the day after tomorrow and all

So there is only one thing to do…

HELLO EVERYBODY!!!111!!11!..I unfortunately share your early action anxieties, even though I was in denial of it for the past two weeks…

pleaseyale: lameeee username. quit being so obsequious

13 daysss<3333

Tristan101, I didn’t even buy a sweatshirt when I visited. If i don’t get in, I don’t want a physical reminder of my rejection…

^pigsatsea, I’ll have you know that i just looked up the meaning of obsequious… made me feel a bit stupid, lol, but i know it now thanks to you : )

yepp. see. studying for the sat actually has practical value cuz i didn’t know that word before

so if one gets accepted/rejected/put in purgatory, how does it appear online?

Banners? Songs? Boring status update (replacing the checkmark under application status)?
CAKE??

ughhhh…still 13 days?

at least i have my Ualabama honors app to distract me

purgatory probably just says you’ve been deferred in a nice way, no song or anything

when u check the site, does it say accepted/deferred/rejected? or is it worded in a letter format “we are pleased to offer you admission…etc”

Good plan, Khach - In July I wasn’t even thinking of decisions and the great likelihood of rejection, lol. Yeah, I’ll probably stow it away in the back of my closet if that happens.

Sooo about the decisions status site-- Obviously the blue screen will pop up if you get in. Buuuttt if not, is there a letter? Will it tell you specifically that you are “deferred” or “denied”? The worst thing that can happen is I don’t get in and I’m not even sure which of the latter two results it is… ehh.

Edit: oops didn’t see the above post. but same question, kind of.
