2014 SCEA hopefuls?

dec 15th, 2pm west coast time, 5pm eastern time

if they ask for quarter grades, is that a good thing or a bad thing?

like…we want to admit you so we’re just checking to make sure you’re still that great or we’re iffy about you so we want to make sure you’re not slacking?

i wish i would’ve asked my counselor to send my first quarter grades, though. it seems a little late now!

time is going by so fast…and yet so slow. anyone else feel this way?

gooood luck everyone!!

im taking the sats this weekend too!
really, its just for kicks and giggles because its subject tests, but whatever, its last standardized testing i have to take for four years, might as well go out with a bang

@ Khachaturian, im guessing you play piano? if so, you should know that hes one of my favourites :)

I know I don’t post much on this thread (used to a little!), but just thought I’d jump in and mention that I’m from Philadelphia. Not asian :frowning: But still like coffee and/or tea and scones :)

@ Khachaturian, speakmusic14: YES Khachaturian is lovely! Woot for piano!

man i wish i lived in phillly so i could meet up w/ you guys if we got in!
Anyone live in ohio?

I have to wait till the 16th :frowning: 6:00 AM - either the most AMAZING way to start your day…or possibly the worst ever.
Well technically I have to wait just as long as you guys but psychologically its worse lol

Btw just wondering but those applying from Philly, why Yale over Penn? Is it because you want to get away from home?

Penn, well the Huntsman program, is my second choice so i would love to hear your opinions. thanks!

Stupefy:

I am actually a guy lol. I’ve never been to the King of Prussia mall but my friends tell me it’s just one of those places Pennslyvanians have GOT to visit at least once. Hell, I meander around the Lehigh Valley mall on bored days so going to this one would probably be like eating a golden bowl of awesome chips :). Isn’t there an IMAX somewhere around there?

oh no way! in philly or the suburbs?

I’ve lived here all my life and i absolutely HATE philadelphia. I mean, the historic part is nice, but it’s really not that great of a city. I go in there every weekend for piano, and I really don’t like it. plus it’s just half hour from my house, and I need to get away
that being said, wharton is THE best undergrad business school and it is my 4th choice

Yeah KOP is fabulous. I live about 20 minutes, so that’s actually the mall I go to most. There’s two parts (plaza and court- court is more upscale) and if you can’t find what you’re looking for in KOP, it doesn’t exist  and you wouldn’t know because you’re a guy, but it’s the best place to go dress shopping…lol
and yup there’s an imax right outside.

This is kind of random, but Obama is visiting my highschool and the general Allentown area as i type. My friend passed his motorcade while on route 22, heading towards the Lehigh Valley Mall. I guess this mall ain’t too shabby after all…(this sentence is mainly directed towards Stupefy). Talk about surreal…only Dec. 15 will top a president visiting my area lol.

So, if you want to catch Obama, come to Allentown within the next 6 hours or so ;). The city kind of sucks but OBAMA’S THERE!!!

George Bush drove by my house a couple months ago. He was visiting someone in the next town over.

^ Wow, that’s pretty intense. Funny, Allentown’s only two hours away from my school. XD

obama sucks ass

11 more days!!

obama sucks ass

OOOO!! You’re going to get in trouble. Im going to tattle tell on you. You are dissing the PRESIDENT OF THE COUNTRY IN WHICH YOU BREATHE. SHOW SOME RESPECT YOU IMBECILE.

^Agreed. I was more of a Hillary fan, but Obama is a remarkable man. It’s true he isn’t living up to our (perhaps unreasonably high) expectations of him, but he’s doing better than the average president. And in any case, Dems>republicans. yeah I went there.

our country is going to ****s and obama sucks

Nah, I don’t really show respect for authority figures I don’t agree with. I am still and will always be in awe of the Obama campaign, but I’ve lost a lot of interest in Obama. But then again, that’s because he’s not nearly far left enough for me.

Libertarian technocracy.

@pigs I agree our country is in a bad state of affairs, but obama inherited one hell of a situation, a situated CREATED by W the moron
