^^^agreed, but not W the moron, W the money-grubber (the difference is the fact that W’s intentions were not focused on the country’s welfare)

Government is just government. Aren’t the people (the investment bankers, the people who took the loans, the columnists who knew better and didn’t say anything, the people who read the columnists who did say something and didn’t do anything about it) who created the problem just as accountable as the government that has failed to fix it?

(Only fanning the political debate so we can pass up Stanford. Go Yale!)

oh can we not get into religion/politics. that could get really nasty. ive been in a religion-debating kind of mood lately and have a hard time controlling myself (resulting in huge, hateful rants ;))

^That’s okay, you’ll have plenty of time to think about as you spend an eternity in hell.

(Come on… Do you want to beat Stanford or what?)

^I don’t like politics very much, but based on my work ethic and values, I’m apparently a conservative.

At my high school, our kind is mocked and shunned.

Radical conservative Christian (haha but I am a pritty secular christian) right here.

fiscally conservative socially liberal
my kind is sometimes known as a libertarian, but, in real terms, i tend to be a moderate republican (and please don’t tell me that’s an oxymoron)

haha, its not an oxymoron at all. America’s a moderate right country

hahaha im a fiscally conservative socially liberal as well- libertarianianish…

although this will never happen because the average American is dumb, insurance should just be abolished and people having to budget their expenses considering it cant be profitable for the consumer if the ins companies are making profits… which is one facet of my fiscal beliefs

and then itd be scientifically beneficial to support liberal social reform although its arguably inhumane with pro-choice and whatnot, in the end it will only benefit the human race… and the other freedoms associated with liberal social reform… theyre freedoms and theres no problem with them to society whatsoever- things like gay marriage

closet democrat repulicanism!

^ Love it. I agree.

Libertarian. Get out government.

And for those who think it was W the moron, it was actually Clinton who got us in this economic mess. He set up undocumented loans, and the buildup happened to crash the market right when Bush left.

WOOOOO libertarians. well, I’m libertarian in theory (ultra-liberal socially, economically conservative/moderate) but in practice, I plan to vote democrat because lets just face it, 3rd parties are a waste of a vote. and bob barr is useless.

(most) religion is the antithesis of progress

Idk about that…I would say that the hope religion instills in the general public of every civilization makes progress possible.

I’m socially libertarian, economically socialist, and an athesist

I respect religion-just not for me…

I’m not even conservative. I’m right-wing.

Libertarian all the way!

ooo i love how i come back and we’re all professing our political beliefs

Go libertarians!

Realistically, I consider myself to be a moderate democrat.

Populism ftw
