2014 SCEA hopefuls?

^ I won’t. Haha. I’m going to be a nervous wreck that day… I’ll probably be rambling on and on during my interview too…

it’s so close…yet still so far away

Verbosely:

To fit in, all you gotta do is express your SHEER UNADULTERATED PAIN of flogging yourself in reverance of the Great December 15th until…well, until the admissions diety delivers you to the promised land of EA decisions on that day. Remember, If you do not start to see stars in front of your eyes during the flogging, YOU DON’T WANT IT ENOUGH!!! GRAHHHHHH!!!

And also, it helps to be left of center politically and you better be able bust out some serious wit-kicking rants about Andrew Jackson’s former hairdresser to survive this jungle!

We also may occasionally do some online matchmaking–completely free!–and create the occasional online baby. Do not get creeped out. It is just a natural part of the webernet circle of boredom.

But, uh, yeah, do some groveling at christiansoldier’s feet over his drool-worthy scores and you’re in! :)

^hahahahahhahah that was greattt

Dang, Pigs, you’re on the right track.

i will celebrate dec 15th for the rest of my life if and when I get into Yale

Well, entertainment helps to make time pass so here is a song that one of my friends made up that I found really funny

Sing to the tune of “Be A Man” from Disney’s Mulan

Let’s get down to business
to expand your brains
you’ll prove by induction
and endure the pain
you’re the coolest bunch
we’ve ever met
and you can bet
before we’re through
somehow we’ll make huge nerds
out of you

class from 8 to 12
then team project or lab
if you find a moment
you can take a nap
you’ve survived this far and will endure
much more before you’re done
we know we’ll make huge nerds
out of you

you’re always doing mental math
now you’ve gotta show your work
boy, are you a fool not to
collaborate
holman’s got 'em
scared to death
hope you can learn
from recap.
now you really wish you hadn’t slept through class.

(be a nerd)
we must be swift with our calculators
(be a nerd)
with all the grace of recursion trees
(be a nerd)
with all the smarts of doctor luokkala
mysterious as the substance-less aether

the end is drawing near us
when you go back home
your mind transformed within you
will never be the same
your high school friends won’t understand
so remain, govies, at heart
now we have made huge nerds
out of you!

(be a nerd)
we must be swift with our calculators
(be a nerd)
with all the grace of recursion trees
(be a nerd)
with all the smarts of doctor luokkala
mysterious as the substance-less aether

Haha.
I think I’ve got the pain part down. No stars here, I’m seeing dancing bulldogs.

Ahh, it always comes back to Andrew Jackson, no? Went back a coupla pages, and WOAH, some serious political discussion going on. Not too political myself, but I would say I’m pretty liberal :D

ONLINE BABY! free?!? where?

WOW I was just listening to that song on iTunes.

Also, moose, I hope you know I’m stealing that.

I was just looking up that song on youtube in French! (along with a bunch of other disney songs… yes, nerdy, je sais)

^don’t worry Christian, I stole it from him too ;)

The “free baby” part started on pg 154, I think. It was a lot of fun to read.

hahahaha i thoroughly enjoyed that song
so i should probably do my actual homework now…

@verbosely- WHEEEE FRANCAIS! or more like franglais…oh how I love to speak en franglais. c’est tres amusant :)

example: je veux get into yale. c’est ma reve et si je don’t get into yale je vais etre tres depressed.

you can substitute words in english even if you know those words in french. why? because its franglais and its BAMF

I studied French for 4 weeks so I could jump right to AP French, but never finished because I realized I had to write my college essays.

@Stupefy: MOI AUSSI. j’adore yale, et je parle like this tout le temps avec my friends :D

je no hablo frencho
I wish I took French…such a sophisticated-sounding language!
