ok, there may be some errors in that. lol

^ ditto tristan. 法语 est le bomb! lol.
ah ah, intello. j’aime ce mot :D

Oh, poo. When I type that into an online translator is sounds really strong…

there’s probably errors in that too. haha

was just going to type that  then i discovered i dont have chinese input… boo. :P

chinese is pushing it a little, how 'bout some more love for ingles?

It’s hard to type this while I’m puzzling out something in German :P

Back to English?

KK  Plus, just in case, I don’t want to be kicked off the forums for not speaking English haha

Sounds good to me! I’m trying to do French hw too :P

Is there truly a rule against speaking other languages?

!!! I have just stumbled upon googlegooglegooglegoogle.com

Out of curiosity, how many of you have actually visited Yale’s campus? And if you have, then what was your favorite part of it?

yeah be jealous.
soyez jaloux :)

I’m so proud of myself for starting a foreign language convo  I knew it’d pick up, considering the level of academia here

ps I’mma let you in on something real cool. so in 8th grade, me and my friend asked my french teacher how to say lol in french, and she translated it literally from laugh out loud into “rire a haute voix” so now whenever we speak franglais, we say rhv instead of lol :D

"@Stupefy: MOI AUSSI. j’adore yale, et je parle like this tout le temps avec my friends
wheeeeeeeeeeee!

^ Lol. I’m guessing that real Fran

reir en voz alta <----I always loved it when I found parallels among Spanish, German, and French. Learning one of these languages can actually help prepare you somewhat for learning the others.

LMAO. i mean, rhv… i’m off to join that group
i’m in this french convo class, and our favorite word to throw around is super-chouette. one time, someone misspelled it ‘super-souhaite’ and now we all say it like that. makes us sound like we all have lisps :stuck_out_tongue:
@co: yeah i visited this summer. this is going to sound sad, but i loved the libraries… sterling memorial and beinecke! oh and the people too :D

The libraries were great, but did you go inside the dorms? They’re awesome… My favorite place was the bookbinding/printing studio.
