<p>1) Superb academics and study abroad opportunities
2) Yale Daily News
3) STARs Program
4) Prof. Diane Krause</p>

so in my interview, my interviewer said something very interesting. He went to harvard law school and yale undergrad and he said: Yalies are much more wellrounded. And there is just a sense of community and school pride at yale that just doesn’t exist in the same form as Harvard. He said, it’s hard to explain, but it’s something you’ll perceive when you get there :)</p>
<p>Why I applied:</p>
<p>1) Great liberal arts education that pretty much makes you ready for any next step you will take
2) The music opportunities (i think the best at any ivy league for an undergrad)</p>
<p>I agree with Terrence’s 1st reason. I also applied because frankly, the people I met there were extremely friendly, open, passionate, involved. Exactly the type of people I want to surround myself with. And the type of person I want to become :)</p>
<p>In my Yale interview, I talked about how, among other things, the intangibles of Yale really attracted me to it and my interviewer started nodding vehemently, lol. Hope that’s a good sign, and she basically said that’s one of the special things (general spirit of students, campus, pride, etc) about the place.</p>
<p>Oh my goodness, YES, verbosely! Totally one of the major reasons why I applied!
Of course, there are wayy too many amazing things about Yale :]</p>
<p>I never had the opportunity to visit unfortunately, but from what I hear from you guys the population at Yale must be wonderful =].</p>
