Woah Yale has already made decisions?! Why even wait an extra WEEK?

TO MAKE US SUFFER!! JK I heard from someone yesterday on CC that they have all the decisions decided, but they probably have some apps that are in the gray area between admit/ defer or defer/ deny that they want the entire committee to look at.

AHHHH THE SUSPENSEEEEEE! I’m super jealous of my friends who applied to Columbia ED, totally wish i were in their shoes right now.

ughhh we can only pray that the yale SCEA decision thread looks anything like dartmouth’s…
it’s like “accepted!” on every single page with a few deferrals. I didn’t even see any rejections.

^ If that’s true for Yale SCEA we should organize a CC get together at Yale.

Good luck from the Stanford thread, Yalies!
The “good luck from the Yale SCEA” posts I saw on the Stanford SCEA thread brightened my day, so I thought I would return the favor :)

(PS, I hope the Stanford one is like Dartmouth’s too.)

A HUGE shout out from the Brown ED thread to wish you guys luck :)

Wow, I’m loving all this inter-school love =]

Everyone that gets in isn’t competing in the pool anymore–you can be sure i’m rooting hard as hell for the other ED Ivies :D

^I like your logic bluescreen!
Yesterday was a good day by that measure then, coz Dartmouth seemed to have a pretty high admit rate (at least on CC and from others I’ve heard). Hopefully that continues with Columbia, Cornell, and Penn later this week!

Yeah dmouth was good this year. My school went 4/4 accepted ED. :)

Ah nice! My school went like 2/4 or 2/5 for Dartmouth. That’s still very high for my school! Congrats to all who got in.

Ah guys I really hope they release decisions a little earlier. Tuesday is just awful :(

Yesterday, one of my classmates got rejected from dartmouth ED
I really thought she had a chance too…ahh

I doubt that Yale will release the decisions earlier…
I don’t think they would want to surprise us like that

Dartmouth was pretty brutal to our school, but I have hope for Yale :)

No one from my school applied to Dartmouth ED, and of the “smart” kids, 2 applied to Brown ED and 8 to Yale SCEA (7 Asians).

I totally had a dream last night that I was accepted to Yale, and I was looking at the email that said YOUR ACCEPTANCE LETTER IS IN THE MAIL!!! and I was soooo happy it was insane, but then I woke up. It was sad.

has anybody been watching the open yale courses on iTunes?
i watched some of “the american novel since 1945” but it wasn’t really my cup of tea
Ive been watching intro to psych with prof paul bloom; its pretty cool
I kept thinking: I wish I could take this class in real life :)

sunfire- do you have to pay to watch? That sounds really cool!
Hmmm, I know atleast 1 other kid from my school applying SCEA, and he’s way smarter than me, and anyone in the district to be realistic! so basically, i should not get my hopes up. But i am ADDICTED to this thread - i read every post and check back like twice a day. I should probably spend more time on school work ![]()
I’m liking the ivy-love vibe

I love iTunesU! Some of those lectures helped me in the classes.

No, you don’t have to pay to watch or listen.

I love the Yale courses on iTunes!!! :]

Yeah, I saw this American history course which I started watching and actually got addicted to…but then i had to force myself to stop so I could finish apps in case I get deferred/rejected :-(

But I’m also really loving all this support everyone’s showing for each other.
