<p>Hey guys, I am really nervous for tuesday. I just hope that by some stroke of luck I get in. Yale is my top choice and I can’t imagine myself going to some other university.

<p>How many of us think of Yale as their top university? As in, you wouldn’t know how to write another “Why [insert college name here]?” essay, and if you were accepted, you wouldn’t bother applying anywhere else.</p>

It’s just the perfect fit. It’s one of the only school’s that has all the programs and allows me the kind of academic flexibility that I want. Plus, the academic environment, the beautiful campus, the people, the culture, research opportunities, focus on undergrads…<3
I would honestly matriculate the day after if I got in granted fin-aid came through…</p>
<p>I’m just a junior, but already, I’m stressing out about this…I have high test scores, but my Calculus grade this year is really messing up my GPA. Sigh. </p>

<p>Yale’s my second choice. Smith College is my first, but I do like Yale…like alot…and it’s an ego thing too…I want to be able to say “i got into yale”…it might be dumb…but it’s how I feel.
And i could easily see myself going there if I got in and money was crappy at Smith.</p>
<p>Penn decisions are up if you wanna stalk their board</p>
<p>here’s hoping our board looks like Dartmouth or Cornell and NOT COLUMBIA</p>
<p>If I had ended up applying EA to Yale and got in, I wouldn’t have applied anywhere else. But Yale is my absolute first choice, it’s the only one on my list that I wouldn’t have any deliberation over. But if I don’t get into Yale and do get accepted to two or more of anywhere else on my list it’s going to be a very tough choice.</p>
<p>And I want to tell you a little something about uni decisions in the UK - we don’t get decisions back on a specific day like you guys do. Once you’ve applied, your decision could come AT ANY TIME. You could literally check the website multiple times a day, every day, and then one day it would just <em>appear</em>. Imagine that. IT’S TERRIBLE. I’m so glad that US colleges have designated dates, I don’t think I could handle losing my mind again, I only just got it back.</p>
<p>^portugueseninja- that would make me go crazy… i already check enough times even while knowing when the decision will come!
so, i haven’t told anyone yet… I just didn’t want to have to let them know about rejection or have them apply to the same school as me-my friends would seriously apply SCEA just bc I did. So unfortunately, i kinda told a white lie or avoided the question of ‘are you applying early anywhere’

<p>LOL^ Man do your friends want to attend the same school as you or do they want to compete against you to see who gets in, cause that would be harsh!! I should have told a white lie but I didn’t since my school is so small that everyone would have found out anyone. Now everyone is going to ask me on the 16th and I really don’t want to tell anyone if I get rejected!! I AM GOING TO DIE WITH THIS WAIT!!!</p>
<p>Yale is my absolute first choice although my dad decided to tell me the other day that it was probably too far [only 6 hours!!!] and that I’m probably going to end up going to someplace closer like hopkins or swarthmore or something. yeah I wasn’t too happy. he really wants me to apply to princeton since it’s much closer but I don’t fancy princeton too much :x</p>
<p>But I love yale so muchhhh <333 I want to be a bulldog so badly!</p>
<p>To pass the time I’ve been listening to a ton music: Queen ( Bohemian Rhapsody), Owl City, Tik Tok ( annoying song, but I’m getting used to), and I’ve been watching some movies.</p>
