2014 SCEA hopefuls?

this is such a nice sentiment, thank you! good luck to you too!

for me yale> or=harvard>princeton. princeton is too close to home for me to become independent, which i desperate need to do

Cool, thanks. What I am confused about is that at
[Eli Accounts | Office of Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.yale.edu/admit/acas/index.html)
There are 2 options of eli accounts to sign into:
Regular Decision Online Decisions
and
The Admitted Student Web site

Will a 3rd option for Early Action Online Decisions appear, or am i on the wrong page?

Um, I think you’re on the wrong page.

[Yale Application Status](http://www.yale.edu/sis/ugas/)

I was reading past threads and somebody said that our Eli account login is taken away and replaced with a link that says Early Action Online Decisions or something on the url olyt888 is talking about, and we log into that instead. Can somebody confirm this?

Really? I am asking where the signing will be from for the EA results. Its not the Yale Application Status page is it?

^^I think they’ll add another option on tuesday at 5 pm

^the application status is where we find out???

Um, I really have no idea. I assumed it would be the application status page because I couldn’t find any other link. Sorry!

I think what Tristan101 said makes sense. No, Stupefy, the application status isnt where we find out, that was a confusion.

^ No, I think a new link will appear on the Eli accounts page for “Ealy action decisions”

I have another question off topic. My school does not have quarter grades, only semester. So I do not think Yale has seen anything of my academic work this year (senior year). Do u think there is a chance they will defer me even if they liked me just becuase they havent seen my grades yet this year?

@olyt888:

I do not believe that to be true. My school is the same and we had one SCEA acceptance last year.

No…how could they defer somebody on the basis that senior grades were not included, especially when Yale doesn’t even ask them to be sent?

Hahaha that too :P

Great. Thank you. I know there is still the larger chance that I won’t get in simpily becuase of the number of strong applicants, but it encourages me that I wont get defered or rejected on a technicality. Thanks for answering my questions. Best of luck everyone.

Good Luck everyone! I really hope that you guys all get in. I was rejected from Stanford SCEA, and I’m devasted. Now I’m looking at Yale.

muahahah I’m hoping that the fact that I sent in my quarter grades of all A’s in 5 AP’s will help me out. the other kids at my school applying EA didn’t send grades because their grades are not very good…

My stomach has been tying itself into knots for the last 3 days. Any destressing ideas?

^^I’ve been baking like a fiend
Literally, today I made Muddy Buddies, muffins, and bread…it’s ridic

@Anonymous- I’m so sorry! :frowning: Hang in there.
