***2015-2016 AP Score Results Thread***

Just wrapped up my sophomore year…
APUSH: 5 (:

AP Lang: 5 (not really surprised, but still extremely happy! my teacher really wasn’t that good, she was really intelligent but spent most of the course either berating us (not really me) or being extremely lenient, but i think she was counting on my getting a 5)
APUSH: 5 (I hate history so much, im convinced my teacher was drunk the entire course, the Kaplan prep book was a godsend and I willfully recommend it to anyone, really thought I screwed up the FRQ response about like the early 1900s but i guess I didn’t)
AP Bio: 4 (disappointed, science is supposed to be my thing lol, my teacher was okay but bleh, i could have studied harder but i lost track of time during the first section and messed up the grid in responses)

Sophomore Year:
Art History - 4 (Happy, but I wish I had gotten a 5 - it was my favorite class and I did the best in it)
Calc AB - 4 (Pleasent Surprise, I only did well on 2 FRQs)
Computer Science - 5 (Elated! This was my first 5! I only finished 2 FRQs lol)
World History - 4 ( Fine, I was never extremely good at the essays so I was fine with it)
Overall, I am extremely happy with my scores!

APUSH - 5 (had an incredible teacher who prepared us insanely well)
AP Bio - 4 (felt like I bombed it and was expecting a 3)

These were my first AP exams and I am very happy with my scores!

AP Physics 1: 2
AP Physics 2: 3
AP Literature: 3
AP Human Geo: 4

I’m mildly okay with my scores. Expected Physics 1, did not expect Lit. Thought that was a 5 for sure.

AP Calculus BC: 3
AB Subscore: 4
AP Statistics: 4
AP Literature: 4
AP US Government: 4
AP Microeconomics: 3

I walked out of Stats, Lit, and Gov expecting 4s, so no surprise there. Extremely surprised about Calc though. I did not do anything in that class all year…couldn’t stand my teacher. And I’m a bit upset about Eco, but it was my most difficult exam this year IMO.

AP Gov: 4

My first AP class. My meager preparation was binging Crash Course the night before, and I was surprised with how easy the exam was. Still, I expected a 3, so this makes me pretty happy. Seeing some of the low AP Lang and APUSH scores here make me scared for next year, though. :s

English Lang - 5

I felt very confident about the exam. Paced up to the time called, and wrote until the last second. Didn’t have time to run through answers and free responses again, but writing’s my strong suit and I probably didn’t need to.

APUSH - Code 96 :frowning:

Self-studied this one. I still haven’t received my score yet. Any ideas as to why?

Computer Science- 4
World History- 5

Walking out of the testing room after the CS exam, I thought I would probably get a 3. The 4 was a nice surprise considering I couldn’t even do the frqs 2 months prior to the exam until I sat down and started teaching myself the material and practicing outside of class. I was expecting the 5 on World History. My teacher was awesome this year.

Anyone get a score delayfor AB Calc (code 81)?

Any idea how long delays take to get resolved?

AP English Lang-3. Was expecting a 2 because I felt I didn’t do well on my essays or MC.
AP Human Geo-4. Thankfully I studied straight from Barron’s two-three weeks before the exam.
APUSH-4. Something I expected, considering that I had a phenomenal teacher and did practice tests on my own time.
Bless up

AP Lang-5 (I did really well in this class and my teacher definitely prepared us, but I was a little surprised since I thought I messed up on at least one of the essays).
APES-3 (It’s okay… I wasn’t expecting much. Had a terrible teacher and the content bored me).
AP Psych-4 (A little disappointed but it’s okay).
APUSH-5 (Pleasantly surprised. The class and teacher I had were really easy and I did not think I was adequately prepared!).

5 on AP World History
5 on AP Biology

5 for AP World

APUSH - 5
Calc AB - 5

hype

2 on AP Lang exam :(. I’m so ticked that I spent all that time on studying. I passed the class with an A because it was so easy, and we practiced for the exam several times (got two 3’s and one 4!)

APUSH - 3

My first AP exam! I am a little disappointed though because the colleges I’m looking at mainly accept 4’s . Also I studied really hard for the test and ended with a 95 in the class. :frowning:

@stern2021 I took the APUSH subject test and got a 670 :frowning: but I got a 5 on the AP exam. I took them on back to back days. It’s frustrating, but the reality is that some testing days are just better than others. Also, the tests are completely different since the AP exam also has an essay.

4 on AP Euro

(first AP taken as a freshman)

Euro-5 Had an excellent teacher who treated the class exactly like a college class, essentially lecturing/discussing content and not caring if we were on our phones/doing other work during his lesson. I struggled with being self-disciplined during the beginning of the year, but improved my habits and worked really hard and am happy my decision paid off. I am glad my teacher did this because it helped me become more diligent and focused with my school work
World-5 had difficult, but phenomenal teacher. Her unit tests were sooo hard (80% uncurved was about the highest anybody at my school got) which was irritating during the year when i was struggling to maintain an A. However, it completely prepared me for the AP exam and made all the practice tests/actual exam MC questions feel like a cake walk.
APES-5 I had a first year teacher who was really poor at the start but became a very good teacher by christmas. However, by then I had already labeled the class as a joke and didnt do anything the whole year. I crammed the barrons book into my brain in april. it also helped that the exam is 90% common sense/middle school science
