2015 cc March Madness pool is now open!

My comparison with Kevin Stallings, who I admire despite his inability to get some really good teams deeper into the NCAA tournament, is just to say even good people stick their foot in their mouths sometimes. Sometimes knee deep. Different circumstances, but also different expectations from an adult and a coach (at least on my part). I also saw that Harrison had apologized and thought that was a good move on his part. It has to be hard for that team to deal with their defeat last night after all the expectations that have been put on them and I am sure the emotions were still flowing at the press conference. I have really enjoyed the Harrison twins these past two years and I’m sorry that Andrew will have this experience as likely his last representing UK.

I managed to stay awake through the cold open of SNL last night and found it pretty amusing (and relevant) that they poked fun at the student-athlete experience and the big business of March Madness.

So much happiness in this house where a displaced Badger lives in Duck Country (though with a rather pathetic former Hoosier lol)!!! I love how loose and fun this team is. That comes from experience, not from playing one and done. My son was in Madison last night celebrating (I’m sure in responsible and mature manner lol). It’s been especially fun having my kid at my alma mater this year! On Wisconsin!!

What a super game ( cheered for frank and the revenge after last years debacle) . Lol I didn’t know about the Wisconsin / Kentucky. History, until last night. We are on family vacation and son set the stage for last night 's epic faceoff. Didn’t know about Kentucky’s poor sportsmanship after the game- sad. Children looking up to them-

Yes, Wisconsin’s last trip to the championship game was in 1941, when they won it.

They were so terrible when I was there. So was the football team, but the games were still fun so I went to all of them. But I only went to a few basketball games-- they were awful.

“It has to be hard for that team to deal with their defeat last night after all the expectations that have been put on them…”

But see, that’s one of the major pillars, or used to be, of athletic competition; to carry yourself in a straightforward and positive way in the face of disappointment. Yes, these are teenagers and green twenty year olds we’re talking about, but it seems to me that those kinds of lessons have been missing for most of their lives these days. It’s the “I’m special and I don’t deserve to lose” generation today. It’s almost like we breed it into these kids.

Well, I guess we can add March Madness final game to the list of events that the vBulletin people can’t handle, other than decision day.

On Wisconsin!

I keep forgetting to breathe.

I’ve seen Aaron Rodgers in the crowd now, so my night is almost made!

This is just a really, really good game, no matter which side you’re rooting for.

I can’t watch. X_X

Terrible reffing. Bad call.

It just occurred to me that if Wisconsin doesn’t pull this out, all those missed free throws in the first half will come back to haunt them.

But it’s been a great game.

Did someone pay off the refs?

:frowning:

:((

A couple of bad calls at a crucial time, but Duke was great. I was rooting for Wisconsin but mostly wanted a good game. I was not disappointed.
