It seems like the acceptance rate actually declined from 10.8% last year to 9.4% this year.

9.4% was the regular decision acceptance rate this year. I think the overall acceptance rate is going to be around 11.3% if you include the early decision numbers. So, slightly up from last year’s 10.8%.

Saw this a few days ago. Yes, google gives an inaccurate figure for the acceptance rate.

Aggregate yield for '19 will approximate 49 to 50 percent, an increase from 2018’s 47.7 percent (which was also record setting). Annually, it is both more difficult to be admitted AND matriculation yield similarly is improved.
