<p>Does anyone know what the counselor/teacher’s email will be used for? Does he or she need to write a letter of rec?</p>
<p>I didn’t see any recommendation forms in the online application.
Also, how prestigious are these programs?
Do you actually start a business or is it all just pretense </p>
<p>@Orangebananapeel You do actually start a business, and the programs are pretty prestigious, although they’re new.</p>
<p>I’m applying to Launch. Last year I applied regular as was one of the select few put on the waitlist. Given that my PSAT score was a 195 last year but now my SAT score is 2320 and I am applying early, I hope I can get it. </p>

<p>Last year, the essay really allowed me to shine but the got rid of it this year so I’m kind of mad. </p>
<p>Is anyone having trouble with entering their total SAT score on the Launch application?</p>
<p>Hey guys, I didn’t go to Launch or Endevvr, but I did go to a camp that is very similar to it (<a href=“http://www.catapultincubator.org/”>http://www.catapultincubator.org/</a>) </p>
<p>One of my advisors as a part of this program was the guy who founded Launch and Endevvr and let me just say he is a great guy. What he really said is the main thing he looks for is if the person is passionate and motivated about what they do.</p>
<p>Whatever camp you go to, just know that they are all amazing!</p>
<p>@produde is that a summer program with extra focus during the school year? The website is confusing for me. </p>
<p>It’s not a summer program, but for three weekends spread out throughout the year, you go to the campus you were accepted to. In between those weekends, is actually where you do the majority of your work with Google Hangouts with your advisers and team members almost twice every week.</p>
<p>I highly recommend it. It was a great camp.</p>

<p>Yes, it is for high school students. I went to it the first year it was created and at that time they only had it Harvard. Only recently have they begun to expand.</p>
<p>You will meet many brilliant kids at this camp, majority of which will go brilliant schools. All the seniors in my year ended up going to a top 25 college.</p>

<p>So this is how I understand it. After acceptance, we’re put it into the business groups. Then, we spend 4 months together (with 3 times at the University) to develop a business. All of this is during the school year. Correct?</p>
<p>I’m just worried that as a Free Agent, I’ll spend so much work on someone’s idea, and then be kicked off because technically I’m not part of the company.</p>

<p>@Orangebananapeel I went on an orchestra tour for most of the summer, so I just went for some of the small programs: FEE Economics Seminar and HOBY Leadership Seminar. </p>
