Xmarai, congratualtions!!! :))

Thanks for your wishes. I am also still believing.

Hi guys. I’m still waiting with you guys. Hoping for the best

I sent in a recommendation from my principal and updated, fixed transcript over a month ago. I haven’t called them because I read the blog “Don’t be a Waitlist Freakshow.” Although it’s a blog for Yale Law School, I think the same rules apply.

I think being put on the wait-list really motivated me to learn more about Yale. I’m sure everyone here has found the world-reknowned “Why I choose Yale” video.

Anyways, the thing that draws to me Yale, most of all, is the community. I visited Yale during the summer and, although the summer sessions may not be an exact representation of school during the academic year, I could feel the cheerful and positive energy emanating from the students.

Earnestly waiting for word from them.

As well as the Harvard spoof on it. I heard they had to modify it and take out the part of asking about the girl stuffed in the wall. Some people take humor beyond acceptable limits.

Thank you agata12. I hope the best for everyone.

Alexuser, I beg to differ. I sent in tons of fresh recommendations from ‘big guys’. But I think what impacted most was my waitlist essay, describing why Yale and why me.

I’ve heard from unofficial sources that this is the last week for the decisions and that waitlistees will get a final answer. I guess everyone just wants news at this point. Good luck all!

You’d imagine, eh?

Well the wait is over for D2 - she got her rejection letter today. She would have loved to attend but was expecting this after not hearing any news in early May. Good luck to the rest of you. I am sure you will all be very happy and successful no matter where you attend. As for D, she is very excited to be a Maroon in the fall.

with no calls…received the expected letter…rejected. CLOSURE, FINALLY!
Go Blue Devils!
To the rest of you still on the waiting list…GOOD LUCK!
