Hi! I’m a upcoming junior and I just want to compare my schedule with other juniors (or anyone else.) Please rate my schedule difficulty on a scale of 1-10 and reply with yours. Thanks!
AP English Lang
AP World History
AP Economics
IB Math 1/Pre-Cal
IB Biology 1
IB Psychology 1
CCNA Exploration 1 (Computer Networking)
CCNA Exploration 2 (Computer Networking)
8.5/10
I don’t have my schedule finalized because I’m doing full time running start (taking all classes as dual enrollment at a local 4 year university) but on the off chance that I don’t do that, my schedule would be:
AP Lang
APUSH
AP Physics C
AP Chem
Honors Spanish 3
Engineering 4
8/10
AP Lang
AP French
AP Spanish Lit
AP Psych
Accelerated Calculus
American History
Genetics
9/10, genetics class seems like it would be fun
junior year
AP lit & comp
AP French
IB precalculus
AP chemistry
IB art studio 2
IB contemporary history
-
Senior
AP Lit
AP Statistics
Civics and Economics Honors (required)
AP Physics 1
AP Gov
Newspaper 3 Honors (yearly-editor in chief)
PEPI 2 (class where you work with special needs and elementary school students)
9 I think working with special needs kids is extremely important. It’s good that you are doing that!
Junior year (homeschooler, I take classes at an academic homeschool group)
I’m into the arts, and will probably not be looking at a career in the STEM careers, so I probably won’t rate very high.
Pre-Calc
Honors Chemistry
American Literature (w/ American Lit CLEP test)
English Comp 101 (dual enrollment at a local college)
AP American History
AP Psychology (1 semester)
AP Studio Art
Philosophy: Justice (1 semester)
Italian
9
I’m also an upcoming junior, here’s my schedule for next school year:
Criminal Justice Operations 3
AP Capstone Seminar
AP English Language & Composition
Weight Training / Nutrition & Wellness (semester each)
Pre-calculus Honors
AP U.S. History
Physics 1 Honors
In addition to this I plan on taking the following courses on Florida Virtual School;
AP Computer Science A
AP United States Government & Politics (if time permits)
I don’t really like rating schedules because they depend on what courses are available to students and what works for people. As a junior myself, this schedule seems pretty manageable.
9/10
My schedule (subject to change because I’m moving to a new school):
AP Physics 1
AP Chemistry
AP English Language and Composition
AP Calculus BC
French 4
AP U.S. History
AP Computer Science A
AP Macroeconomics? (Possibly idk )
9.5/10
Schedule for Jr yr coming up:
AP Lang
AP Calc AB
AP Statistics
AP Biology (with lab - counts as 2 of the 8 courses)
AP USH
AP Psychology
Chorus honors (need an “art” elective for graduation, this is one of the few at “honors” level, and if it’s a fall class then we get to go to the inauguration in January '17)
Concerned about taking both Stats and Calc AB - made a B in precalc honors with a hard grading teacher - teacher for Calc AB is supposed to be easier - teacher for Stats will be new but I think I will like that class. Thinking about putting off Calc AB until sr yr but I have read that that is not recommended. I guess my plan is to do Stats and AB jr yr and then Calc BC sr yr if my school has it (didn’t this past year). So I would welcome any thoughts about math.
