I have two questions… what is the format of an SGR? I got an email saying I had missing materials and it requested the grades from my most recent semester, however it did not specifically say SGR. Also, if I have been in close contact with my counselor, should I mention to him that I recently got both an internship and a job? I feel like that is a valuable thing to mention, but I do not want to overdo the emailing. Thank you!
@cjm1996 if you check under application status it should say “usc app. spring grade request”. This is at least what I saw when I was asked for a SGR.

According to the threads from last year, people started hearing back around this time, though. So hopefully we’ll hear back sometime next week!

Just out of curiosity, when did the Marshall transfer applicants start receiving decisions? I joined this thread a bit late, and I wanted to go back and take a look at their stats… (Unless there’s still a bunch that haven’t heard)

@FightOn952 congrats! If you don’t mind me asking, how many GE’s and prereqs you have completed?
@penntousc I completed 65 units in total at my community college. For USC I completed all of the pre-reqs and core classes they wanted.
I got an SGR. Viterbi applicant. Computer Science Major. I think I got an SGR cause I was taking physics, chemistry, and calculus 2 this semester. It was a bit tough of a semester so my grades weren’t how I wanted them to be. I ended up having a 3.81 gpa overall with 69 credits completed. After I submit my spring grades, how long does it usually take for them to get back to me with an admission decision? I got accepted to UCSD and want to go to USC. Ohh if it counts for anything I received my SGR on Friday may 20th.
For anyone that received a SGR and has been accepted, how long was the wait between ordering your transcript from your school to be sent and recieving an answer from USC?
@erajan as far as what I’ve seen there has only been one applicant who received an SGR and got their decision, and that person said it took a week, so that made me very nervous.
