I just got accepted yesterday as a Biology major! I was wondering when I can expect my Financial Aid Award? Does anybody know if it usually comes a couple days later or something?

I just received the acceptance package in the mail but for some reason my portal hasn’t changed.
Major: Computer Science
GPA: 3.7
Major GPA: 3.95
Accepted: UCSB, UCB (EECS), UCSD, UCI, UCSC, USC
Denied: Cal Poly SLO
I don’t know if I’m going to accept, I really like UCSB and I think I’ll stick with that.

(UCSB is a very nice campus and I considered it a long time ago. I went to UCSD instead.)

Has anyone who recieved an SGR and sent in their spring grades recieved a decision? Do we know what average turnaround times have been in the past for applicants who recieved SGR’s?

@John6311 Thanks! And no I didn’t have an SGR. I don’t even really know what that is haha
@ohwiseone Yeah I applied with a 3.73 GPA (around 60 credits) and 31 ACT. My high school GPA was 3.4/3.6. And I had average ec’s.
Hey guys! I’ve recently had to resend my HS transcript because there were problems with it and it BARELY got processed. (Doesn’t appear in “required documents” section anymore). I’m a sophomore transfer and I haven’t gotten an SGR yet but all my friends in the area that have applied have recieved their SGRs. Should I contact my admissions counselor?
@peegee Contact an admissions counselor as soon as possible! If you don’t receive a response from them in a day or so, I’d ask the admissions office if there is another counselor you can talk to. I don’t know what kind of problem there was with your original HS transcript, but for sophomore applicants they take your high school grades into consideration. If they never received your HS transcript, there will be some issues with making a decision on your application.
Hi everyone! I just got my acceptance letter in the mail today! The letter was marked May 20, 2016. I’ll be entering Dornsife this fall. Coming from a CCC with less than 60 units and a 3.46 transferable GPA, I didn’t think I’d make it at all. For those who haven’t heard back yet, have hope! Fight on

@John6311 I didn’t, the last thing I got from them before this acceptance package was financial aid information back in February.
