@jheintz what were your grades for your SGR? I wonder why they would reject you after asking for a SGR. I’m really nervous right now that I might get rejected despite my 4.0 gpa this spring semester :\
@zettasyntax are you talking about their admitted students day - Bruin Day? I went this year and did not get a great impression. Btw, how do you think USC views non trad students?
I got my SGR on Saturday! Annenberg applicant for Journalism
My question: has anyone who has ever been “SGR”-ed been rejected later on for their first major and only accepted to their second?
Has anyone heard from Keck? This wait is killing me.
@jheintz hey congrats on the admission! can you share your stats when you received sgr?
Admitted to Marshall today! ccc 54 units no SGR
GPA 3.73 overall. 3.69 USC transferable. 2017 spring admit!
So my restrictions keep updating what does that mean? When I first got access to OASIS yesterday my restrictions said 10:20am 05/25/2016 and now today it says 8:28pm 05/26/2016 no stars yet tho
Has anyone been rejected yet? If so, can you still log in to the housing app? Also, if you have been admitted does the housing app look any different?
@nyuorusc congrats! did you get your letter or you found out through your portal?
Guys, I’m really happy for those who got admitted, and for those who are still waiting, fight on! I’m on the same boat with you.
Does anyone know what the possible reason is for the fact that I have not been contacted or requested for anything since the day I applied? No further info was asked for, no SGR. is this a good sign or bad? I have over 80 CCC units applying for Marsahll. Any thoughts will be appreciated!
Hi everyone. I applied for Viterbi and still waiting for a decision. However, I just got my financial aid package updated( im my USC portal). Is this common? Or does this means I got accepted?
@marscollegeguy Does your financial aid screen actually show the awards/amounts?
@NosyParent16. Yes it does, which for me is not that great I’m getting 70% free gift and the rest is loans and from my pocket. I’m a low income student.
@marscollegeguy I would recommend calling Financial Aid and ask if you can appeal for better aid due to your situation. As for admissions, from what I’ve read, the letter is mailed and then the portal is updated 3 business days later.
@NosyParent16. Thank you. I didn’t know I could do that. I’ll give them a call.
I got my packet in the mail first. My portal never changed but I did get a form from financial aid about parent assets two days before I got my packet
I applied to Marshall with a 3.7, got a SGR and finished my Spring Semester with straight A’s. Is it safe to assume I will be accepted?
My friend and I applied to Marshall and we got our SGR’s a month ago
is it common to be asked for something financially aid related and assume you are accepted? I’ve noticed that people who have been emailed about more info for their financially aid have been accepted a few days later.
Accepted to Marshall 5/24!
SGR’d in April, however accepted prior to sending my spring grades-nice surprise!
My Info:
3.8 GPA
Southern Cal CC transfer
60+transfer units
Good luck to everyone waiting!
