@eoverland well id rather go to USF than stick around at this community college …ive done like most of the GE requirements and all i need is some math which dosent make it worthwhile to stay there id rather go there apply and major specific stuff and maybe apply again and if i dont get accepted again ill finish up there
plus im a veteran so im getting my schooled payed for and if i got to USF i get paid more for the area and have a decent fafsa package
I just called the office regarding the status of my application because I need a parking permit. They said that I’ll hear back by this weekend. Called my counselor
@daRamz Are you from the area? USF is an absolutely beautiful school and offers a lot more aid that USC. USC is my dream school but if youre open, SF is a great option with great connections in the area.
and for whoever said dont do that. the admissions person asked if i had to commit to another school on the phone and i was like yeah i would drop everythng for USC but i have to put a big deposit down that will prevent me from leaving for usc. and she was basically like"dually noted" and typed some stuff up and said i should know by the end of the week…!

@journalism89 My son was accepted in early May. He has already paid his acceptance fees, but he can’t enroll till he speaks to his counselor. That won’t happen till mid July. Nevertheless, he was able to register for this permit lottery.
Yes ma’am I was able to do my parking lot preference. It stopped me at first because I need to add my vehicle information @triviummom
@John6311 i think it has passed but im not sure…but if you got in (i did a few months ago) they are still waiting to enroll or they will let you in for spring for sure.

Just called my counselor. Was told that it could be anywhere from now until mid July. She verified that there is nothing more that I need to do but explained that she has no way of knowing where an individual application stands in the process once it has begun review unless a decision has been made. She was very sympathetic and honest
@scotthock did she say if you were currently in review or awaiting to go in the process?
