@scotthock Does that mean the conselors don’t have control of the decision?
@daRam She basically only knows if a decision has been made. I am a TTP applying to Viterbi and I turned in my grades May 20th.
Viterbi students when do you think we are going to hear?

@daRamz yes I know and really I dont even think general admissions has a lot of power. From what I was told while having my meeting with my counselor for the TTP, the only people who have power over your decision are the director of admissions for your major so for my case Viterbi has its own admission which is why I think were all getting decisions at really weird times. She did tell me that decisions could have already be made but they have to get them signed by multiple people and that can delay a big batch of admissions a while
@UCSBUSC who is your counselor and what major did you apply for since they said that you’ll hear back this weekend. I want to call my counselor but I’m out right now
want to call but i feel like its annoying when they probably get like fiftyt of these calls a day

@Usctrojanhopeful Pretty much same as above, they’ve been saying second week in July. It might start rolling out this weekend since the deadline for turning in spring grades is today (or they will no longer be able to consider you for admission etc) so they’ll know what they’re working with now. I have a feeling maybe a couple will go out tomorrow/weekend but majority will be next week

Actually there is no hard deadline for submitting spring grades. My grades don’t come out until tomorrow, July 1st. They say just get it in ASAP once final grades are posted.

@topchoiceschool my SGR letter says “We expect to receive your spring grades as soon as they become available. If we do not receive them by June 30, we will be unable to consider you for admission.” I’m not sure if everyone got that same letter but I figured it was generalized. I’m sure there are some exceptions like if you already talked to them about your grades not being out.
My SGR letter said the same thing. @topchoiceschool I would double check your letter and call your admissions counselor first thing in the morning to make sure.
@Transferrring Would you mind telling me your stats at time of application and after?
@topchoiceschool Same my grades don’t come out til tomorrow! Are you de Anza/foothill too?! I called USC about it and they said to just upload a screenshot of unofficial grades on the portal once they’re available, but I ordered a priority transcript too just to be on the safe side

@topchoiceschool Thank God at least someone else is in the same boat as I am, I’ve been freaking out over sending them in so late agh. I’m a Psychology major! What about you? And yeah, I just put the order in like yesterday–there’s an option to send them after spring grades are posted.
