just called… they said now it may be the end of the month that we hear back. he also said that decisions are already made on our application they are just waiting to see how many people enroll to fill in the spaces accordingly. he also said that some people may be let in for spring because some seniors graduate midyear so they fill those spots up too.
he also said that marshall and dornsife will be later because they are larger schools.
End of the month? That is way too long of a wait.
just emailed my counselor and she said admission decision will be finalized this week or early next week.
Looked at my financial aid status and saw I have the ability to verification, hopefully that’s a good sign!

Well if @eoverland is correct about the only issue left being filling spots accordingly, than that would mean the majority of you guys are likely accepted. They would not wait to fill you guys in accordingly if you were all rejected, as they would just send the rejection already. Not trying to raise false hope, but logically, that makes perfect sense, so I wouldn’t give up yet if I were any of you!
@eoverland if decisions are already made why does it matter how many people enroll like if they decided that youre in they should just send out the letters
@itslife123 not too sure… She took 2 physics, 2 English, 1 or 2 ge. And finished 1,2,3 calc. She’s also a TTP. I think she only got one B and all A’s.
@eoverland that’s great info! did you call your regional counselor or the general admissions office?
@penntousc thats true. but imagine if everyone in one school enrolls. then none of us get in… it goes both ways. I’m just hoping for the best 
@thepinksun called the general admissions office and i just grilled the student working until he gave me some information haha
@xerxes96 I am assuming that there’s something like a line going on. so for example, if you and I are both marshall, they rank us. so if two people accepted enroll, neither of us get in, if neither enroll, we both get in, but if one enrolls and one doesn’t, and you are higher up on the list than i am then you get in but i don’t even though i’m qualified simply because they don’t have enough room for me. also if they sent all of the rejections today, it would be unfair because if you don’t receive a rejection today, you assume that you are in, which may not be the case because they only have so many spots.
