Does anyone know how long after you receive an acceptance online, do you receive the admission packet and financial aid info???
@lowkeyloco can u say how many GEs/PreReqs you completed?
@uscmarshallbound i am still waiting as well…i submitted my grades at the end of May
@uscmarshallbound there’s still quite a few of us waiting. Stay positive!
@uscmarshallbound Thank you! Sweet, let’s hope you get in as well! California Community College and around 90 something quarter units, I believe.
@johnnyUSC completed 34 units, not counting all my AP credits, and did all of the GEs and major prereqs except the 3rd level foreign language requirement
@eoverland Oh wow that is almost 2 months ago. Have you tried calling the office about when Marshall applicants should hear back? I’ve been following this thread since for a while, and it seems like every other school but Marshall has already made the majority of its decisions.
I’m still waiting for Marshall too
@LadyVeee @eoverland @CaliforniaUSC I hope we all get in. Hopefully the long wait brings good news
waiting for Marshall too! let’s hope we all don’t get rejected on the last day! (that would be so cruel…)
@pomeranian4rich I agree! Although the trend from last year does indicate that those who wait this long are usually accepted.
@uscmarshallbound I’ve called the offices so many times. They always say something new. My admissions counselor, Michael Gulotta, said
"Erin,
We plan to have the transfer admission process completed by the first week of July. "
When I emailed and asked about a timeline.
With that information, we should all know by friday evening. However when I called they said that the latest could potentially be two weeks out (from this past monday… so next friday).
I feel like the admissions counselor would be more accurate than the students working at the office but I am honestly not sure anymore…
@CaliforniaUSC @pomeranian4rich
Let’s hope that the long wait gives us good news. I’ve been reading through this forum and so far there has been one rejection and one acceptance from the past week and a half ish. Not quite sure what that means.
Have most people who received a spring grade request been accepted ?!
Yeah honestly I’ve called quite a few times and what I’ve learned is that nobody knows anything, not sure why I even call at this point? My counselor has given me 3 calendar dates that I would know by, some over a month ago, and I still don’t know lol
@CaliforniaUSC where are you currently located/who is your admission counselor?
@anxiety2016 i think its been really half and half for people who got SGRs. everyone who’s financial info has changed to include the ability to benefit info has gotten in though.
Not sure I want to put a name on here, DM me if you want.
I just want to get in at this point
@anxiety2016 Well based on this thread, I would say yes. But its hard to tell since I would assume most people who get rejected (after receiving a SGR) don’t post.
Does anyone have Jesse Reuter as their admission counselor?
If we have waited this long we must be accepted
@LACCryan would you mind if I added you on snapchat as well? I’ll be applying for the first time in January and I’m all the way out in PA, so to be able to see bits and pieces of the campus from a new transfer’s POV would be awesome!
