@John6311 I know a lot of people have answered, but honestly, it is very hard to say. As others have mentioned, it would seem that they don’t factor in spring admit GPA into their transfer GPA stat, so that might be a reason. However, I saw somebody with a 4.0 on here awhile ago that was accepted for the spring semester and I myself had a 3.9 GPA when I was accepted (I did also have a W though), so I know it’s a very small sample size, but it’s not like having a GPA above 3.7 = automatic fall acceptance. Some people do talk about the units and that is definitely something that would apply to me. I had ~100 units. There are a lot of theories, but it’s hard to say. I would have guessed that the time of the applicant getting notified after an SGR would play a part, but that’s obviously not the case as there seems to be a lot of Fall 2016 acceptances still. Somebody even suggested that having a perfect GPA but a bad personal statement could somehow result in a spring acceptance. That seems silly to me =\
@itslife123 Absolutely not. If you’re missing some major prep/GE’s you might want to try and finish those, but since I had 100 units, my community college said they weren’t paying for my classes anymore and it’s not like I really needed to complete anything else aside from another semester of Spanish to fulfill the language requirement, so I really just bummed it all fall while trying to look for a job. If I had the money, I would have just gone on vacation since I literally had nothing to do
For those who received the eligibility to benefit, how long after that can you get access to OASIS or register for a USC account? I can’t seem to login with my USC ID to neither
Have people who got the ability to benefit thing been rejected or mostly accepted? I know getting this means a decision is about to come but ive not seen anyone get this and then been rejected?
Date decision postmarked/received: SGR - April 21st, 2016 ~ Acceptance - July 7th, 2016
Which school/major at USC: Dornsife- African- American Studies

College GPA: 3.67
Units: 31+
Applied to: USC
Accepted to: USC
Rejected from: None
Essays: I say I did a pretty good job. From the people who have read them rated my essays a 9/10. I wrote about an extremely sensitive topic that I’ve only shared with USC. I felt like it was necessary to show USC a different side of me as the side that was shown when I applied out of HS. So, I’m happy that USC accepted me, for being me
Recs: One from my English professor and another from my Honors College professor.
Additional info: I attended a out of state four year university in Hellzona, aka Arizona lol. I completely hated my experience there, but am happy to be living on my dreams as a Trojan at USC. As far as my Fall semester plans, I am not too sure, but I know for sure that I’m not going back to Hellzona, lol. I’m also a TTP applicant; my mother graduated with her Masters.
