@mr.transfer OASIS seems pretty much useless for those that get/notice the ability to benefit since they’ve all pretty much been accepted the next day. It might update at like 2AM if you’re awake to check (it’s typically in the early morning), but if you’re going to find out later on, why even bother lol?

@thepinksun I’d check the STARS Interactive Report around 2AM (or when you wake up) and if it’s filled out, it should say “TERMS OF USC ENTRANCE” somewhere and if you see 20171, well, then that means spring 2017 admit (mine said 20161). Of course, it seems like you’ll see it on the portal tomorrow anyway

Hey! Fall 2017 transfer hopeful, wondering if any prospective transfers are lurking these pages.
According to my OASIS I’ve been accepted for Fall 2016 as undeclared!!! (I applied to Annenberg for Comm) I just woke up so I’m like half asleep as I write this I’ll post stats later but IM SO DAMN HAPPY!! I also got a financial aid email at 5 am est after I got my ability to benefit! (have not received my official acceptance letter yet)
DONT GIVE UP HOPE PEOPLE!! Fingers crossed for all of you! we all deserve to get in at this point!
Just got my Ability to Benefit Verification! For everyone else waiting, don’t give up hope. I submitted my spring grades May 16th and have been sitting on my hands since. I hope I get to meet a lot of you this fall!
Edit: Forgot to mention, accepted to the International Relations and the Global Economy major. Lemme know if anyone cares for stats and my story.

Is there anyone who didn’t apply for financial aid that has been accepted? Was there any indication before your decision letter was sent that you were in?
@topchoiceschool According to LACCRyan, he heard after 3 days or so; that sounds accurate to me I think I may have waited more like 5 business days, but I did apply for aid rather later, so maybe that’s why it took me slightly longer.
@thepinksun How interesting. Undeclared to me means that USC really likes you as they had to have you - even if it wasn’t for a major of your choice I remember an applicant from 2014 that didn’t get into SCA or Marshall but instead was accepted as Undeclared as well. She eventually did transfer into Marshall though, so happy ending.
Called USC, they said no decision has been made and my application is still under review. This is a good sign for a lot of us who haven’t heard yet! I was thinking they finished decisions yesterday and if you didn’t get ability to benefit it meant rejection… Clearly not the case!!
